I used these in gift bags for an event I hosted. I kept some for my children so we could watch the sea creatures grow as well! My 3 year old really likes checking on them every day to see how big they got. I think by day 3 they were full size. Some reviews I read did not like them bc of how they felt and how long it took them to grow. But reading them I knew what I was buying. It was something fun for my daughter to watch and pretend to have a pet for a little. I did not let her play with them. We just looked. They are fun bright colors and a something different to use as a party favor. I would recommend.

This is a simple, cute project to complete with my toddler. Teaches her patience as you won’t see much of a difference in day one. Takes about 3 days for the process to compete. Still fun to see the final outcome.

I didn’t realize it would take 3 days for them to reach full size. My toddler lost interest quickly so we had to pretend to feed them fish food twice a day. They were slimy when we took them out of the water. Over a few days they dried out and shrank back down to original size. Then we threw them out. I have no idea what we’ll do with the rest. 3 down, hundreds to go….

Great to put it in a goodie bag for kids age between 3-8. It actually grows in size and my kid enjoyed checking every day.
