Advanced Adobe Photoshop CS6 Revealed (Adobe CS6)

All the reviews say that you can't access the necessary files, but you can!When you go to cengagebrain's site and try to access the free files it'll ask you to "register access code" or "preview" if you preview you will be able to access and download the required data files.The "Revelaed" series of books are fantastically set up. I love reading through them and I feel like I can learn so much through them. They're straight to the point in their instructions and are very informative. Combine this with the Data files and (if you're using this for school) a good professor and you're sure to learn all about advanced Photoshop!

The book is perfect it just didnt come with what is required to use the book. You need the files to actually do the things listed in it, which in college these are the assignments. If you dont need this for school and just want to learn without the files then its a good book. If you need the files which arent included on a cd or the code isnt included then look at cengage brains website.

Required for a class and it is a all around good book. Renting this ebook saved me almost 60USD so I am really happy over that as well.

Did not come with necessary files to use the book. When I contacted Cengage, they gave me chapter 1 files but nothing else.

If you buy this book from amazon.com you definitely can't access the files. I even got in touch with Cengage about it. They replied: "If you like I can request the Coursemate resource site to be set up as a single purchase product on [...] this will cost roughly $80-$90." That wasn't acceptable to me. The price of a book that needs downloadable files should include the price of the download. However, if this is the case with other reviewers here, please contact Amazon. They came to the party with a full refund for me and were extremely prompt about it. In their shoes I'd be taking this book off the site.
