This is a fantastic product. It is very well made, sturdy, very sharp, and easy to use. With proper care, it should last a lifetime and then some. It is always a pleasure to handle high quality tools, whether in a kitchen or a shop, and this qualifies.Because it is very sturdy, with solid handles, it is heavy for it's size. For me, it is pleasure to use. For others, it may seem a little too heavy and unwieldly. Watch the demo videos and use your own judgement.In summary, this product exceeded my expectations. I would be more than willing to give one to friends and family as a gift.

We process all our own meat here on our farm, and any game animals that we also get. We use all professional gear and these shears are AMAZING! We usually use cleavers, or a bone saw for the ribs, but we hate the bone chips that come along with that enterprise. A meat bandsaw is just not in the cards for us, but these shears are truly the thing to have, and no bone chips or dust that even a bandsaw would leave. It also does not take the strength of Hercules to use them, which for this little old lady is quite an improvement over the last set of meat shears I had. Hands down, awesome product, don't forget to get these for your favorite hunter and processor for Christmas.

These scissors are nice and sharp and work great for processing birds.

These work well for heavy duty work, cutting the backs out of chicken, but not so much for fine work. I use another pair of shears when parting out chicken to cut small bits.

Well built sharp kitchen shears

Bought as per many homesteader and YouTube accounts to have on hand while processing meat chickens. Can confirm after our first processing day that these shears were a hit, and one of the main tools we used and grabbed for while processing our birds. Easy to use, comfortable to grip for all sizes of hands, and cut extremely well. For the price they’re definitely a must have.

I have gone through poultry shears but was never satisfied with them -- too small, not enough cutting strength, hard or uncomfortable to hold, can't disassemble easily, et cetera. These are great poultry shears. They have enough size and shear strength to cut up any poultry. Don't waste your money on the cheap ones. Buy cheap, buy twice.They are, however, a bit too large for small or delicate kitchen scissor usage. One also needs smaller kitchen scissors, which I also have, to do delicate tasks, cut open packages and strip herbs from their stems. Just make sure you get the ones that can easily be disassembled for cleaning, otherwise contamination may be an issues. Small ones can cut excess fat off of chicken thighs, but will not cut down the back bone of a chicken.Make your kitchen life easier and get one of each and make sure they are top quality. We raise and process our own chickens and so, after having no success from other kitchen shears, I decided to give these a try after watching the video. They work great and look great too! I especially love being able to easily take them apart to clean thoroughly. They sent an extra spring, too! Definitely worth the price.

Probablemente demasiado poderosas para muchos de los usos normales de una cocina…. Son súper fuertes, muy prácticas y bien pensadas y seguro pueden con huesos de pollo (o dedos)…. Muy contento con la calidad y la fortaleza…. El color no me encantó, es medio rojo perlado… negro hubiera sido mejor opción…

Cuts through chicken and turkey bones (for spatchcocking on smoker) good - not worried about snapping them in half line typical scissors.

Works well for cutting fish bones.
