Not Exciting But Effective
Look, I'm not gonna sound off any horns, but if you need a dependable dye that does the job right with less quantity used then get these. Caution: wear disposable gloves or your fingernails will remind you for weeks and be sure to squeeze out every last drop of the wand head afterward because you'd be surprised how much damage it can do otherwise if left to it's own. Just for ease, I keep black and brown with one color in the box for the bottle stand use later (very cool feature that saves grief) and the other I leave out with both used wands in a baggie held by a rubber band around the second bottle. Both go in another freezer weight baggie along with a pair of disposable gloves in their own baggie. All keep neat and in one place (my shoe shine box) until I'm ready to repair damage or change an original color. Bottles are good for two or three pairs of boots/shoes at least. Be sure to rub the finished dye job with a soft cloth to remove any residual and to put a finish on the surface.BTW, you can buy cheaper dyes, but these color in one pass and hold true without stinking during application or after they dry..

Dyes leather and doesn't fade
Used this to dye my brown boots black. Worked good, just dabbed it on. Its been 8 or 9 months and they're still black.

Winestone leather dyed my tennis shoes
Leather dye, minestrone. I used it to dye my tennis shoes. I taped over the rubber heals but still smeared on it

Great for leather sandals
Had some light colored leather sandals that wouldn't clean up well anymore. The dark brown color is really close to black. I wish I had bought a lighter color but they do look new again. The dye is very runny. Just don't drench the applicator. It left no lines or runs. I used some acetone to clean them up then put on 2 coats waiting a couple hours between coats. Then I used the reccomended sealant.

Very black
Easy to use and very black….does the job and dries pretty quickly. I even used some to dye some small pieces of wood veneer for a project…worked great.

Saved my boots
I spilled some wheel and tire cleaner on my boots, resulting in some bad bleached spots on both boots. This covered the bleach spots and blended perfectly with the original dark brown. Be a little careful, the product is a little thin and can run. This was the first time I tried to do anything like this and I had excellent results. It’s been a few weeks and the boots still look great and can’t see the spots that were dyed. Couldn’t be happier.

used on car seats
i originality reviewed this as a 5 but felt I needed to change it. The seats came out good but I felt they could be better. They still lacked any real shine and had a browning tinge and did not look new, I tried another brand and type of balm and compared to that this is average. The balm is what I needed to make my seats look almost new. After applying this product it took a little bit of hand buffing . the balm required no buffing. Before and after pics included
