Having ordered this bag I then read a few reviews from other buyers, and was a bit concerned that some reported defects and a strong smell. I was beginning to suffer buyer's remorse, but then it arrived and it's the most beautiful deep colour, with good quality fastenings, sturdy and roomy enough to carry a laptop and all my work paraphernalia, which is why I ordered it - and it doesn't smell of anything but leather, a subtle aroma and certainly not the overpowering smell some other reviewers noted. Not sure if the tanning process has changed, but there is absolutely no problem with it at all.I'm really pleased with my purchase - it's a very handsome bag and really practical. The leather is a little bit stiff at the moment, but I'm sure it will soften with age.

I bought this for myself but after trying it looked too big on me. My husband was eyeing the bag and admiring it. It is a beautiful bag, very well made. I couldn't send it back as it is really lovely. Needless to say hubby is now very happy with his birthday present 😆

It’s a massive bag, made of very good quality leather. Bags like these in local markets are £500 upwards, so the price is really good. I use it as a workbag
