Possibly same adapter sold under dfferent names
I first bought a different product ("CY Adapter PCI-E 4.0 M.2 M-key to Oculink SFF-8612 SFF-8611 Host Adapter for PCIe Nvme SSD 2260") because I needed PCIE 4.0 speeds. However, once I noticed the picture for "CY Adapter PCI-E 4.0" showed 2260 sized board, I placed an order for this one ("Cablecc PCI-E 3.0 M.2 M-Key to Oculink SFF-8612 SFF-8611 Host Adapter for PCIe Nvme SSD 2260") because it showed compatibility with 2280 slots. However, once I received the adapters, both of them looked exactly the same. The only difference I noticed is that packaging for "CY Adapter" has a "CY Adapter" sticker covering cablecc sticker. Both adapters are listed as having 2260 size, but in fact both of them have detachable section that makes them compatible with 2280 slots. The picture for this (Cablecc) one shows what it looks like.I ended up using "CY Adapter PCI-E 4.0" because I needed PIC-E 4.0 speeds, and it worked and I did not bother to test CableCC one. Below is the review I wrote for "CY Adapter PCI-E 4.0 M.2 M-key to Oculink SFF-8612 SFF-8611 Host Adapter for PCIe Nvme SSD 2260":I was able to connect a Micron U.3 NVME SSD drive with this adapter and "Cablecc Oculink SFF-8611 to U.2 U.3 SFF-8639 NVME PCIe PCI-Express SSD Cable for Mainboard SSD".I am getting PCIE 4.0 speeds (7000 MB/s) on CrystalDiskMark. Not sure how to check for connection errors, but I don't see any errors on SMART reports or using Micron storage diagnostic utility.P.S. I am unable to submit a separate review for "Cablecc Oculink SFF-8611 to U.2 U.3 SFF-8639 NVME PCIe PCI-Express SSD Cable for Mainboard SSD" because the site sends me to this review instead (the one for the Cablecc adapter), so I'll add a brief comment about the cable:CableCC cable worked, but the product name description is confusing because it says the cable is for "for Mainboard Intel SSD 750" but it clearly worked for Micron U.3 NVME SSD.

Not compatible with eGPUs
I had asked the seller prior to placing my order if this adapter would would specifically work with the GPD G1 eGPU, and he not just answered but provided a video showing that it does all whilst conveniently cutting the part of the video it shows the actual adapter connected to the eGPU.Anyway, after receiving the item I can confirm that it in fact does NOT work with the GPD G1 as the seller claimed, and I have also found that a YouTuber called ETA prime that has discovered the same thing when testing this EXACT adapter in the same setup, so honestly I am quite upset that the seller would blatantly lie just to make a sale. I’m disappointed.

Only good for m.2 PCIe 3.0 to U.2, not to PCIe 4.0 to U.3
REVIEW FOR "Cablecc PCI-E 3.0 M.2 M-Key to Oculink SFF-8612 SFF-8611 Host Adapter for PCIe Nvme SSD 2260"It works great connecting a PCIe 3.0 m.2 slot to "Cablecc Oculink SFF-8611 to U.2 U.3 SFF-8639 NVME PCIe PCI-Express SSD Cable" to Micron 9300 MAX, all works as intended.Where it doesn't work, well it works but not correctly, its the same scenario but to Micron 7450Pro which is U.3, it does display on windows and bios, but lots of connection errors. So only get this is if you plan on running u.2 drives, for u.3 see below.REVIEW FOR " Cablecc PCI-E 3.0 Express 4.0 x4 to Oculink External SFF-8612 SFF-8611 Host Adapter for PCIe SSD with Bracket"Its very small profie card, it will work very well even beside a GPU, well made and makes good contact with the PCIe slots. It work fine with U.3 and U.2, no errors at all using the "Cablecc Oculink SFF-8611 to U.2 U.3 SFF-8639 NVME PCIe PCI-Express SSD Cable for Mainboard SSD"Speed wise works as intended, getting almost 7000 mb/s with Micron 7450Pro 15.36tb.REVIEW FOR "Cablecc Oculink SFF-8611 to U.2 U.3 SFF-8639 NVME PCIe PCI-Express SSD Cable for Mainboard SSD"Cable seems to work fine with either of the above, no issues in terms of connectivity, well made, the sleeving is the same as prior similar cables, the connection is secure. Overall its a good cable, works well with U.2 and U.3, but depends on the PCIe or m.2 adapter if you can do U.3.Overall i think this adapters work great, not perfect but they were not design that way, but be very careful into which adapters you buy if you plan on connecting a U.3 drive.
