Game-Changer Charger for My RC Setup
Upgraded to the Gens ace IMARS III Pro 100 W charge beast, and honestly, it’s transformed my charging game. This charger hits up to 10 A and handles 1–6S LiPo packs with ease—no balance board needed, which simplifies charging significantly. What really stands out is its intuitive interface and solid build. The LCD menu is easy to navigate, and the fact that it plugs straight into the outlet (no bulky adapters) is a huge win. I’ve charged multiple batteries without any issues—no swelling or overheating so far, and the internal balancing board performs exactly as needed .

This does not require a balancing board to work!
It’s a great charger and works as intended. The reason I’m giving this review is because of the top notch customer service that the manufacturer provides. I ordered it and thought that I needed a balance board to use but it didn’t come with one. I was getting ready to return it but I decided to call the customer service first, then found out that this charger does not need it. You just have to plug the balancing leads straight into the balancing port, in other words it has an internal balancing board so no balancing board needed! Glad I contacted them first because this saved me time from having to return the charger. I highly recommend it!

Great charger
This is a great charger. I use it for my 2s-4s batteries. Gives accurate info, and will alarm if the batteries are unstable.

Warranty, Customer service a plus
I have bought a couple of these now. only had an issue so far with a fan in one of them. Contacted gensace via the contents in the package. let them know via email I had an issue after a few charges one of the chargers I bought had a fan that sounded like the bearings went out in the fan. they wrote back with some troubleshooting tips. I responded with a comparison video of the noisey unit charging at the same rate as the regular unit charging. They quickly shipped out a replacement unit and it works perfect. I have multiple batteries that I charge or store at different rates. I put labels on my batteries to and have both units set to the same settings so theres hardly any thought that goes into which preset to use when charging. Thanks Gensace.

Good for a while.
1st one had issues and the fan sounded like it was going to die. They exchanged no problem, 2nd one worked great for about 9 months and now it is acting up. It’ll charge lipos up to about 3.7v then the fan kicks on and will drain the batteries back down till the cells are dangerously low and it’ll start beeping at me. I’d pass on this one. My brother has the imars III dual output and hasn’t had any of these issues. I’d pass on this one. There are better options at this price range.

really good 1st hobby grade charger.
It does a great job of charging every type of battery I have. My only regret is I thought it was the version that worked with the gens ace smart batteries, which while it will charge them, it does not have the smart connection so that it reads the battery. Thats my fault. That being said it was this or the imars 300 dual and I am glad I waited for the upgrade to it which is smart and works with 2 batteries at a time as well as having the ability to run off dc. This one is ac only and does work great.

Solid product with a quirky interface
A solid charger (I like that it doesn't need a wall-wart and plugs straight into the wall). The user interface isn't the easiest to figure out, as there's no button that says "start charging" (it would have been helpful to put '(hold 2s) next to the 'Enter/Start' button. Had to do a bit of a crash course on LiPO charging, but figured out to plug both the balance cable and the "output" cable of my battery to get it to work. Was worried for a bit that I was going to send crazy voltage and/or amperage into the battery, but some googling cleared that up.
