YOU NEED TO BUY THESE!
I got tired of looking through my hodgepodge, random stash of those thin wrenches, that come with "assembly required" things, every time I needed one and the last straw was recently when I purchased something at an auction that the previous owner assembled completely incorrectly and it needed to be disassembled and reassembled for it to work properly (no wonder he dumped it at an auction)...and of course there was no wrench with it and I didn't have the correct size in my stash! I actually tried using scissors on this, if you can believe that! And no, my tappet wrenches didn't fit either.Enough was enough, the search was on for an actual complete set of super thin wrenches!I spent a couple days looking around and researching online and ultimately I settled on the Royars. I purchased both the SAE and Metric sets. Between these two sets it offers 19 wrenches (38 sizes!) in total, making it the most comprehensive set available of any of the other super thin sets I saw being offered by other brands. The only skip in this set is 6mm but the 1/4" will cover that if you ever need it. Some of the other brands were missing sizes like the 15mm! What!? Right off the top of my head I can say my exercise bike and mechanics stool both require 15mm so it's a common enough size that you'd want to have in a set and I couldn't believe the others' skipped it. At any rate, the Royars does indeed have it!I received these sets and decided to take my digital caliper to them as I had seen reviews of other brands on Youtube and I wanted to see where these Royars stood. The tolerances are spot on right where they're supposed to be; the Metrics are .2 over (example 13mm is 13.2) for all but the smallest three wrenches which are .1 over...I compared this to my American made Craftsman and Snap On combination wrenches and they too range between .1 and .2 over the stated Metric size. Bear in mind, you can't have an exact size because it won't fit over the head of the fastener. Similarly, the SAE average about .01 - .015 over so great there too.Next, these are 2.7mm thick and if you're using them as intended, as a wrench and NOT a pry tool, you won't bend them. These are special purpose wrenches, designed to fit in super tight spaces and they fit that purpose perfectly. The chrome finish is actually quite nice...I hate to break it to anybody who's complaining about this wrench set, not to mention a set that cost you $50, but a dark spot/unchromed spot is customary on EVERY brand of wrench I own, it's the point of contact during the plating process. There's no flaking or peeling. Will the chrome last forever? Maybe and maybe not. I have plenty of Snap On, SK, Proto and Craftsman with peeling chrome so there you go.And I find the machining on these wrenches to also be nice with no sharp or jagged edges. You'll find some machining marks, typical in the finishing process before being chromed, but then these don't have a textured surface, they're smooth so naturally you're more likely to see stuff like that. They're wrenches, not jewelry and the price is incredible. You'll get over it!I also liked the laser engraved (not just printed) details on the surface of the wrench. When I looked at the pictures, I was afraid the size information was only laser printed on the surface, like those Craftsman "EZ Read" sockets that always wore off. Nope, the sizes on these wrenches are here to stay! The canvas case is even better than I expected from what I initially saw in the photos; it's actually very thick and heavy duty and the stitching is perfect. I'm on the OCD side and I notice things many others' don't and so I couldn't help but notice even the stitching on the orange trim was perfectly straight all the way around each case. Very impressive! All told, this great set is a tremendous value and when used as intended, I have little doubt that these wrenches, and the case too, will last a lifetime. I recommend that you buy these, this is the one tool type where there are really no other alternatives that you can use as a substitute (nope, thin jaw pliers didn't work either) and if you don't have these when you need them, you're going to PO'd like I was before buying them!If I had to find one thing to complain about or that disappointed me, it would be....honestly, I can't come up with anything! Why these aren't on "Amazon's Choice" list, I don't know, but you should definitely make them your choice! Buy them!

So so!
I bought both the metric and the SAE sets. These seem like ok wrenches. They are definitely NOT the highest quality, but they will hopefully serve their purpose in narrow and tight spots where they will be used occasionally. The finish on the metal has spots that are not polished or shiny. They look like they have been sanded or scraped down, or have reacted chemically to something! Also, in the SAE set, the 3/4 – 13/16 wrench was clearly struck twice with the sizes and brand name showing duplicate at an offset (which makes it hard to read)! Nobody caught that in quality control?! These should work just fine, but don’t expect top quality!Update 1: 12/30/22Today, I received a very cordial email from the manufacturer in response to my above review. They offered me a "full" refund of both of the sets that I had purchased. I have already used the product, and, as I indicated in the above review, I expect that, despite the shortcomings, I will be able to make effective use of these wrenches anyway. So, I declined the refund offer. But I think that the email and the offer represent a measure of customer care that should be noted and recognized. Thank you, Royars, for your consideration and care. Hopefully, the product will improve too.Update 2: 12/31/22With my first update above, I had meant to upgrade the overall rating to 4 stars (from my original 3) to reflect the quality of customer care, but failed to do that. I have now changed the rating to 4 stars. Thank you again, Royars!

Thin is Good
You still need a good set of heavy duty wrenches for general use, but for those occasional times when a fat wrench won't fit, this set of super-thin wrenches is perfect to have on hand. I wouldn't risk using them on highly torqued fittings. That rule applies to any super-thin wrench. The soft wrap stores the skinny wrenches in minimal space. Nice, inexpensive set.
