Finally A Way To Display My Flags
For years I have liked these American style garden flags but never really found an adequate way to display them as the flag pole has not been easy to buy in the UK in the past. Finally now with this I can use to display almost all of my flags now ( it only takes the smaller size). I have mine in a plant pot ( I have mine in the porch) but this can easily fit into the ground and I like the tiger grip too as it stops the flag twisting on itself in the wind which can be a pain to unwind. Easy to set up and weatherproof which is ideal, just a case of sorting your flag to suit your mood ( I have several).

Strong
The flag holder is strong and can support a small flag, when we don’t have a flag on it we hang a lantern and turn it into a solar lantern holder, it is easy to assemble and is sturdy

Lightweight flag holder
This flag stand arrived in parts wrapped together without instructions. But it is easy to install. The rods are thinner than I thought but it is ok for holding flags. It can stand steadily after you insert it to the ground fully. I tried to put my solar lantern on it but it can only hold one lantern. I can’t blame it as this is supposed to be just holding lightweight flags. A bit pricy for the quality though.

takes a flag of up to 14" wide
We were thinking of getting one of these for putting beside our camp site when we are car camping because if you are parked at a site that does not allocate you a plot, you choose one for yourself, and when you drive off to the shop or for the day, its possible to come back and find your plot has been taken by someone who didn't know it was already bagged. The flag is so you can lay claim LOLYou could use it for camp meet ups too , to tell your pals where you are camped. This is a very simple thing .It comes in 3 main parts that are painted 6mm thick steel. They are threaded and screw together.dimensions are about 35" tall overall (including 5" that will be in the ground) and the flag bar can take a flag of up to 14" wideThe bottom part has a long spiked(quite blunt) bit that you can bang into the ground with a rubber mallet (not supplied). You have two sliding stoppers for the top of the holder to stop your flag from flying off and a side clip to keep it hanging downwards for easy viewing. You could hang a plastic printed ,nylon , paper or waxed canvas flag from it.I don't think it is sturdy enough for a wooden or tin sign .Could be used for scouting type camps to mark the pack name.School sports to mark the various houses. Also good for supporting your patron saint or footy team on special days or just your country's flag. This performs perfectly well for what we want it for.It wont stand on its own on a hard standing.

Lightweight flag stand.
This arrives in a thicker than usual plastic bag (more like the sort they put duvet sets in) measuring approx 44cm x 9.5cm x 2cm.There are absolutely no instructions with this, just the bits for you to put together in the bag which is stapled closed. If you remove the staples carefully, you could store the bits in the bag again. It's pretty easy to put together, but I ended up coming to the product page to just check when it came to adding the spring stoppers to it because I'd forgotten what they actually were. The stand is in 3 bits so it's easy to figure out how to put them together. The bit with prongs goes at the bottom, the straight bit goes in the middle & the bit with a curly bit on it goes at the top. They screw together & once that is done, you just need to stick it in the ground & put your flag (not included) on it.It is made of quite thin metal poles & mine seems to have a very slight list in it no matter what I do, but the kids loved it & it does seem nice.I just pushed it a teeny bit in the right direction so it looked plumb - it was only a mm or so off. It's just under 83cm tall from the very bottom to the highest point & the prongs you stick into the ground are about 14cm tall so if you push it in all the way, it sticks up 69cm from the ground to the tip of the curly bit.The maximum size flag you can fit on it is about 35cm wide by 70cm long - that would leave about 2cm below the flag to the top of the flat bit where the two prongs join together.Any smaller than that & you have no issues fitting it on.This works by using a flag with a slot at the top that you thread onto the pole so if you don't have that you'd need to fix it yourself - pegs will work just fine.I actually do really like this. We've been playing with sublimation inks lately & making flags is something simple that doesn't use too many materials so we've been making flags - plus we have a birthday coming up.Now that I have it, I can see lots of uses for it - a sign for an egg hunt at easter, birthday signs etc...
