Digital Jewelry Kitchen Food Scale (Calibration Weight and Batteries Included), 500g/0.01g

I had a postal scale but it only weighed in whole grams. I needed a scale that weighs in .01 grams and this one is perfect! It came with 100g weight and I put it in the scale and it was weighing 100.60 so I decided to go ahead and calibrate it. It was fairly easy to do. Once done it read 100.01 when I placed the weight back on the scale. Not perfect but who knows if the weight isn't slightly off. Good enough for what I need it for. I breed sugar gliders and I'll be using this to weigh joeys daily, to make sure they are being fed well and don't need to be pulled from Mom to be hand raised. This is her 3rd baby. She had twins the first time and they weighed more when they first came out of pouch (12 grams each). My newest little girl weighed in at 22.00 grams today, when she started out at only 10 grams on 10/22/17. She was only gaining a gram or two every couple of days, because my other scale only weighed in whole grams. So now I can see the daily weight changes. Even little losses can be a big deal when you're dealing with an animal that only weighs between 90-150 grams full grown.Update 02/12/18:This scale is still going strong and working perfectly! I haven't had to recalibrate it since the first time. My momma glider is on her second set of twins (joeys #4 & 5) and this scale is still giving great, accurate, daily weights! I'm so glad I went with the scale! I absolutely love the weighing tray they included. I used a little fleece blanket on it to help keep the joeys still when they are young. When they get older, I will weigh an empty bonding pouch, then put them in it and subtract the weight of the bonding pouch. Because they move around quite a bit, as they get older, it can take a minute to get the scale to settle on a number, but it always does!

Wonderful cost effective scale that is highly versatile and accurate. You can use this scale for so many things. It comes with a tray that is about 6”x12” that is sturdy plastic. There is also a 100 gram weight you use to make sure that the scale is accurate. It is very sensitive in weight measurements(it will pick up very small amounts of weight).the scale itself is also a convienent size. Not to small or big coming in around 7”x5”. You can measure in several different types such as grams or oz’s. I’ll be buying this again if mine ever goes out.

This scale works very well, and seems to be highly accurate, certainly more accurate than necessary for weighing loose tea for precise brewing, something my other kitchen scale cannot do, since that scale only weighs grams in 2 gram increments. However, it feels very insubstantial, and the plastic is quite thin where I can see the edges, which makes it feel cheap and flimsy. There is a clear, plastic pan/cover (which can be used to cover the entire scale, but doesn't clip on to make a tight fitting cover), which is actually made of thicker material than the scale, which would work as a platform when weighing larger objects. So, it's not really a satisfactory scale for my needs, since I'd like to be able to weigh out the tea I'm going to steep, and measure weight for other dietary needs when I'm on the go, as well as at home. The vendor seems quite responsive, and I got email from him shortly after placing my order, so it's possible I could return it. However, it would work for crafting needs, such as inventorying my materials, such as beading supplies, or weighing dyes, so I will keep it.

I like it a lot. It's perfect for what I need. I do need to turn it on/off frequently to reset it because the weight will start climbing by itself. It is VERY sensitive. When they say put it on a vibration-free surface, watch setting it near a laptop or having a fan blow on it. The readings will keep fluctuating. Still, it measures most individual beads, which is what needed for my inventory program.

Comes with calibration weight/ batteries & a tray. Difference from other scales is that this has a longer face which makes display easily readable - not hidden by a slightly larger item being weighed. Bear in mind item is still new so how long it could last I have no idea - will update review if it takes a drastic turn. But all in all for the price, a gem scale & if not abused I guess it should last.

Scale has to be calibrated after every use. Sometimes during each use. I guess it is bad unit? I am sending it back and will update this if the new one id decent.

The scale doesn't work at all. I received it today and tried it out immediately. From second to second, the displayed weight varies up to .5 gram (and ounce, and whatever other measurement it's set on) when it's sitting on a flat surface, with the item being weighed sitting still on it. I made sure there wasn't a draft or anything else that might be interfering, and it still couldn't decide on a weight. I tared it and tried again - no dice. I calibrated it again with the included 100g weight - no dice. It just doesn't work reliably.The weight was nice, and the batteries *did* work. The display was bright and easy to read, which was also nice. That's really the only reason I'm giving this a 2 star rating.

Really nice scale, really enjoy it. Easy to use, accurate, easy calibration, and with the tray you can weigh things that are fairly large or awkwardly shaped.The customer service is also top notch from Poniie. I had an issue where the scale arrived with a broken tray and seemed to bounce numbers around a little before steadying out, while still accurate. Wasn't a big deal to me and wasn't going to say anything, but they sent a check up email after it arrived, so I mentioned it. They sent another scale to me free without any hassle. It arrived safely and worked perfect. Great customer service.
