I was looking for something to hang on our bathroom wall and cover a sizable hole (1-foot square) that necessary for a shower repair. Our tub backs up to the shower, and when you walk in the bathroom the hole is staring you in the face. I did not want to re-wallpaper right now, nor try to find a paper hanger to do it.Our solution was to fit the cut out square piece back into the hole, and find something that would we could hang over it that wouldn't clash with the India-themed wallpaper.This product fit the bill. The carved piece is large and rustic, white with copper accents. We like it. It arrived quickly in a large box and wrapped in brown paper. There was one piece along the edge surface that had chipped off to show the brown composite material underneath. This must have happened prior to shipping, because the piece was not in the paper or box. This leads me to believe the piece was shipped already chipped. I decided to keep it, and I painted it with a little white acrylic paint. Because of the rustic, hand-carved design, you can hardly notice it. Our bathroom isn't a high traffic area anyway!The piece is rather heavy, and prone to breakage if care in handling is not used. It comes with sturdy anchors on the back to hang either vertical or horizontal, but it is a bit tricky to get the hardware on the wall to perfectly match the holes. It took both my husband and I to hang it.I am very happy with this wall carving, and that I was able to use it as an attractive, quick, and affordable solution for our problem. I would have rated it 5 stars, except for the potential for chipping and breakage.

Love this piece it works perfectly in the location I wanted it for. It has a weight to it. So I would make sure you add a little xtra support to it.Just one negative thing, it did not come with anyway to hang it like wire attached to the back etc. I had to use heavy weight picture hooks and added a couple extra nails in between the designs that it rests on (extra support).

Love how it looks in my living room! Very elegant.
