My biggest fear is that employers will use this book for real interviews.
My biggest fear is that employers will use this book for real interviews. The book does have a good list of interview questions, written in good English. It has few good answers, but the answers that are there are not always well written. (Some commas, plurals and the word "the" would be nice.) Many of the answers are incomplete, often off topic, and occasionally wrong. The book would have been much more useful if it included links to online documentation in addition to the "answers", and often in place of the "answers". Many of the questions are very general ("What is metadata?") but have only a single, and very specific, answer.I will use the copy of the book I purchased as an exercise for my students. I will ask them to correct and expand on the answers. I just hope that they will not have have to sit across the table from an interviewer who's holding a copy of this book.If you buy this book, read the questions, and then do independent research for any answers you are not 100% on. Do not expect to learn much from the answers in the book.And... no tech book should ever get out of the publisher's door without an index!

Good volume of questions for C# plus added bonus of ...
This is how an interview questions book is expected to be, answersexplained using codes, not the standard theory jargon. Good volume of questions for C# plus added bonus of HR questions. Decent buy for the price.

Great for minutia of the standard, terrible interview questions
Can we inherit Struct? No.But then who would want to? This is an example of the dozens of questions that do more to demonstrate esoteric knowledge of the C# standard, rather than practical and necessary C# and OOP knowledge. It would be a travesty if most of these questions were ever used to screen job candidates who would otherwise be very productive and talented developers. It is great content but misses it's objective by a wide margin and does a great disservice. As an example of a great book to prepare for an interview "SQL Server Interview Questions and Answers" hits the target dead center. 100% relevant content and exactly the type of questions that should be asked and answered.I almost never write reviews. This one made me so angry I wanted to warn others off of it.

Good Book for beginners.
This book shows a lot of promise and it has areas for expansion. The primary reason, I decided to buy this book is to compare it against the list of questions I ask in an interview.Positive:Easy to understand format of questions and answers.Classified by Areas.Negative:Outdated. There is just 1 question on REST API. No questions about OAuth or framework. No Code Examples.

Don't bother unless you're a total moron...
If you're offered a job on the basis of answering the questions here in the manner they do, your interviewer is probably not much sharper than you are; a quick google can supply a much better list of interview questions. On top of this, it's clearly written by Indian native speakers (I recognize the cadences) - which is fine, but the English is poor. Avoid.

Useful for preparation for selection test but not for over the night prep
I will surely say it's not the most asked questions and can never be. Nor any book can be so. But what makes this book valuable is one does learn to handle basic to mediocre chores of programming, be it test questions in a selection test.Nowadays type and creativity requirement of tasks have changed extensively and books like these are more helpful to make one ready to practice rather than over the night preparation. I haven't checked all codes but can say that most are working with desired results.Readers beware that for best preparations this book will only help you when you prepare your mind for exam. Just like any other book, learning programming by this book will require practice to tackle situations.

A good pick.
Do interviews scare you? This is your pick then for it includes tons of questions which will help you equip yourself with much needed confidence. It's written as if someone is explaining to you all your queries & helping you stand firm in search if a job required to build your IT career. Since it contains mostly questions about C#, chances are you are prepared for what you will be asked. It also contains examples & mentions strategies for the same. Overall, I felt it's helpful.
