Great quality,well built.l used mine for an outdoor cat litter box, sawed off slats at one side for cats to enter.They love it and it looks so stylish.

I am not very good at DIY, but I managed this. There are the usual fiddly bolts which manufacturers love even though they often work lose. What's wrong with screws? The lid hinges and braces are fixed with screws--about twenty in all--so I was glad to have my electric screwdriver. The wood is acacia rather than the usual teak. It looks nicer, but I don't know whether it will prove more durable: teak discolours, shrinks, and cracks in less than a year. The lid came slightly warped, which means that rain will enter the box, and the slatted sides are hardly likely to keep water out. I was planning anyway to keep the contents in sealed boxes. Also the base was slightly damaged, but easily repaired. As it is, the base looks flimsy, so may need to be reinforced with battens. I was pleased that this came from Vietnam for a change.Just to follow up -- as anticipated, it leaks even during moderate rain, so will not be any good for storing electrical items.I now include a photo of the box after four months on the patio. The varnish has washed off, so the lid easily stains. The wood on the lid is beginning to warp as are several of the slats. The entire front is starting to buckle. This item is no good for outside use, but what are the alternatives except to build your own? The plastic alternatives are flimsy and the parts snap off when you try to put them together. What I shall do is cover the lid with a plastic underlay mounted with artificial grass, and keep doing running repairs. At least, the item is built of wood which allows improvisation. Would I buy again? What else is there? But when this finally falls apart in two years or so, I will buy planks and 4 x2 and build my own.

Love this storage box. I was fed up of all my recycling bags/boxes being on show. So I now have this lovely storage box which houses my recycling containers. The quality is excellent. Exceeded my expectations. It was easy to assemble and all the tools and screws are provided. If me and my friend can do it, anyone can.

I have been searching for ages for storage for extra bedding and all i could find was cheap folding rubbish but this is perfect and for context this is at the end of a king size bed and a few cm each side left it’s hard wood slatted sides and bottom perfect for airing and the the top is solid wood,and it’s so stable to sit on. Brilliant i love it

This looks nice but is not waterproof at all. It's ruined me new cushion for my swing seat as the varnish stained my cushion after it rained on it with the lid on it!

I think it is a lovely piece of garden furniture and storage. I may even order another piece as I will put scatter cushions on top and use as bench as well as stotage.
