I live in a 200 sq ft studio with high ceilings which is part of an older brownstone building, so my landlord doesn't allow window units. This trusty unit cools down my space in 10 minutes or less. I like the thermostat, even when I'm not using the AC it tells me the room temp. It was smaller than I expected and is super easy to set up. The tube retracts and can shrink in on itself and you can direct how the air blows by moving the vents up and down. In the summer I kept the remote by my bed so I could turn it off when it got too cold for me.The one negative comment I'll make is that it is pretty loud on the normal setting, and took some getting used to. Again I live in a studio, so there was no escaping the noise really, so I can't really blame the AC for that, and anyway it performed very well. I'm also not the kind of person who needs white noise to sleep, so if you are, you probably wouldn't mind. There is also a night mode which is slightly quieter, and that's the one I would use for bedtime.For the price, I'm very pleased.

This is a powerful 10000btu portable air conditioner for a space a little over 300 sq ft. I bought this for Miami’s heat for the big master bedroom. It worked very well with cooling. It takes about 10 min to full cool down the room and noise is average, not too loud. It came with multiple features: timer, swing, different mode and different fan speed. The faster fan speed the louder the noise. You can get the sleep mode for night if you are sensitive with the noise. My partner and I felt fine about the noise and we think it is not too loud. The installation was easy for me as a handy person and hose connected to window is 100% set up, nice and easy. The units has wheels on the bottom and it is easy to move around or change room location. It has some weights, like 40 pounds. The exterior looks nice and high quality. Overall. We liked it and it is a great buy.

I was looking for a unit in the big box stores only to find high prices for name brands in order to cool my master bedroom; which has vaulted ceilings and a sky light. The central AC in my home does not properly cool it and I have been using multiple fans to try and drag in the AC from the hall. I found this unit on Amazon for under $300 for 10000 BTUs. The unit was delivered the next day in good condition and well packaged. Fortunately, I read all the box instructions and discovered the unit has to sit upright for 24 hours before use. It is extremely heavy, so I unpackaged it downstairs to try and lighten the weight, which didn't help. I was able to drag it to the bottom of the stairs but did have to get someone to to carry it upstairs. The unit was easy to install and I was able to do it myself. The exhaust fit quite nicely in my window and was easily customizable. The unit itself has wheels and rolls around smoothly on carpet. Within an hour my room was nice and cool for the first time allowing me to sleep soundly in the peak summer heat. The only reasons I went down to four stars is that the temperature only displays in celsius so it requires finding a conversion chart to accurately program your desired fahrenheit temperature. Also, the remote display is small and the buttons are not labeled making it hard to read if you are over forty. However, if you are looking for a reasonably priced unit that cools, and don't care about button size and the celsius issue, I highly recommend this machine! It is attractive and works well.

I was a bit hesitant when come to choose a portable ac under this certain circumstances. we got a half finished attic that gonna to be a room. It always couple degree higher than the second floor, so we decided to get a portable ac to cool this down. i discovered this product is the only one i can find that is under three hundred bucks with the btu of 10000. I go ahead and get a try. packing was in excellent condition and delivered was fast. I have the unit Settled there 24 hours before i begin. I supposed that what it’s said on it.The installation was much easier the what i expected. All the Accessories was in the box. lucky it come with exhaust hose and the window kit. it would be a big headache if does not. we took about half hour to get this full installed and plays with the functions.Can really felt room temperature dropped within 15 minutes . A room of 200 sqft space this is perfect. remember the air filter are washable, this is easy for maintain and money saver. During this time of year,outdoor temperature are Quite often to drop around 70 F. This is the time when fan mode come very handy. we love to use the fan mode after 8p.m. cause it’s bit chili outside.thanks god it got wheels on the bottom otherwise it’s tough to relocate this unit to other rooms. for this price and high on btu this is a fair air conditioner. Just wanna to share my experience and hope this will helps.
