Heat stopped working after 2 months, and loud
I thought this dryer was ok when I first got it. It seems like it was made well and I like the long cord. It is not as quiet as advertised. I read that it was supposed to be around 62 decibels but it registers around 98-104 as my pevious (cheap from Target) dryer did. I've had the dryer for just over 2 months and today, it stopped putting-out heat on both the medium or hot setting. All heat settings blow ice cold air now. I'm past the retun window by a month, so I have an expensive dryer which is louder than advertised and doesn't put out heat. Bummer.

too easy to inadvertently change the speed while holding the dryer ...
Fairly quiet, but poorly designed...too easy to inadvertently change the speed while holding the dryer with your hand...the controls shouldn't be so close to your hand..

A dryer that won’t leave your ears ringing
Very quiet!! Drys we’ll but I need the heat on the higher setting to get my hair to dry at the rate I’m used to. But fan setting can stay o low and is great! As quiet as I hoped for!

Not quiet!
Expensive and not quiet at all. Does the same thing and same loud noise as the cheaper $20 models. Not worth it. Not quiet!

Among the quietest professional level hair dyers sold
Bought this because of its quiet operation. We heard it in operation at a beauty store and were shocked at how quiet this professional model is compared to every other model there. Bought two, including one for our daughter in college.Using it for two years with no problems. Loud hair dryers have been documented to have the potential to damage hearing over many years of use as they are used in close proximity to the ears.

Glad I bought it
Decent hair dryer. It’s a quieter one and that’s what I was looking for! Glad I bought it.
