Does what I want

This product was purchased without prior knowledge of the unit it was going to replace.

Shocking, battery compartment wouldn’t come out, had to pull it and the plastic snapped, managed to get it working with tape and holding it in place. Shocking product would not recommend.

Worked as described but the listing isn't clear that it doesn't come with batteries

This remote is a Chinese copy of the original. It doesn’t come with a battery which is frustrating. You will need a CR2025 button cell (see photo). The positive side is in the upright position when you insert it in the little battery drawer. To open the drawer, you need to pull the tiny clip to the left (looking at the back of the remote) to detach the drawer. So far, so good, the remote does all the functions the original does. There aren’t any printed instructions. Hopefully my findings will help. The remote itself is very small, easy to lose, so I would keep it close to the CD unit..
