I have a spinal cord injury and use a wheelchair to get around. However, I am still really active while using my wheelchair. I go out often to the gym, movies, or anything that may be happening out in the community.Unfortunately due to my paralysis I do get pressure sores and other wounds on my ankles. I use the Medline Sureprep wipes to help maintain the integrity of the skin surrounding the wound and also it helps to keep the bandages in place. My wounds definitely heal a LOT faster with this product! I've seen a huge improvement after using the wipes, and I've tried almost every other product out there to help heal wounds! I have use external catheters for 5 years with no problems, until about 2 months ago. I started to have an allergic reaction to the catheter, for several weeks I tried every anti-rash treatment I could think of, it only got worse, and I was starting to have some pain. With an Ostomy you need your devises to stick to you . These are some of the best wipes I have used . They put a barrier between your flange and your skin to protect your skin . They also help with adherence. Would 100 percent recommend these .

I worked in a hospital setting for several years and would use these regularly for patients. Also in myself- paper cuts or abrasions, creates a barrier better than liquid skin. Lasts a long time. Be forewarned, it stings with first contact on an open area, totally tolerable. Must have for my first aid kit at home!

For anyone that is using a FES and getting a red rash at the point on the leg where the damp pad is touching for stimulation, this is the fix.
