My negative thoughts on this is that it does not bring proper instructions or link to a video demonstrating how to install it therefore making it not a DIY project

Works as it should

This one is the cheapest on Amazon by far, so I took a chance on it. After getting the old one out, this one looked and felt just the same as the original. However, it was rolled up on the spool a little uneven, so I corrected that to avoid it possibly getting bound up in the tracks. I do think the internal spring is not as powerful as the OEM part, but it rolls up fine when retracting and doesn't sag at all.All that being said, the overall design of the Cadillac sun shade mechanism is doomed and will probably tear this shade up, too. I don't plan on using it too often, because replacing it is a nightmare. The guides seem to bind up in the tracks, and applying some lithium grease helps a bit, but I don't think it's a lasting fix.

Worked great the color is a bit darker than original. Seems to be made well.

Shade looked great but had no tension on the spring to retract shade, causing other big issues. Bought replacement then from a true auto parts store.
