Love these bowls
Loved these bowls. I like the shape, the weight and the colour; I have two sets now, blue and stone coloured. The only thing is the brown pattern looks like food left in the bowl (linseeds) at breakfast, I’d prefer them to be completely plain.

Good size, decent quality bowls
Bascuda® Porcelain Cereal Bowl | Porcelain Bowls Set of 4These are good size bowls measuring 17 x 5.5cm. They arrive securely packed, held together by shrunken plastic and safely packed inside polystyrene. The bowls are made from porcelain and are claimed to be handmade, I'm not sure what they define as handmade as each bowl is identical in size and shape to each other. The bowls do look nice and appear to be well made in an off white colour with a fine blue and pink pattern around the lip. With a set like this it can be annoying if one gets broken, the manufacturers say they are prepared to sell single bowls if that were to happen. These bowls are claimed to be Microwave, Dishwasher, Oven and Microwave safe, they are also of a size that will be most useful. I'm not sure if other crockery is available to match these bowls as many do prefer to have a matching set.Overall these appear to be well made, they look good and are of a decent size. Although they do seem a little pricey to me at £29.99.CONTENTS:4 x Cereal BowlsThank you for reading my review, I hope you have found it helpful.

Beautiful bowls
I really like these bowls, they come well packaged to prevent breakage’s. Each bowl is wrapped in its own heavy duty plastic. The pattern is nice, but I did notice a line down the print and I am not sure if that is intentional or not.For four bowls, it works out at just over £5.00 per bowl and for me that is expensive. The size will suit many needs, from dessert, soups and cereal.

Handmade? Hand detailed? Hmm...
Here we have a perfectly respectable set of bowls. On opening the package, and they were very securely wrapped, we are presented with some quite attractive tableware. The problem starts with the enclosed leaflet. It proudly proclaims "Each individual ceramic is handmade and we have chosen timeless patterns..." (see photo.) The pitch then goes on opposite to show a pair of hands on a potter's wheel.I'm not sure. The basic bowl is too smooth and regular for a handmade item. OK, I've done ceramics and I know that experienced potters can make identical items, but these look cast. Certainly the colouring is a transfer, not hand decorated and I doubt detailed. As you can see in the photo they are absolutely identical - any variation is my rubbish photography.I'll stand to be corrected by the sellers/manufacturers; but I think these are attractive, factory mass-produced items sold at a fairly premium price. They are OK, but the sales pitch doesn't ring totally true.

Not perhaps as 'hand-detailed' as first appears
I was really impressed with these bowls when I opened up the (equally impressive) packaging, especially as they were dishwasher safe but looked very handmade. On closer inspection those 'hand-detailed' credentials seem a bit off. The design on each of these bowls looks very handmade but is actually completely identical on each bowl. Not sure how that works. The bowls are really nice, but maybe not worth the price if they're as mass produced as seems likely.
