The balls measure 5mm each and comes in a quantity of 1kg (2.2lbs) which is securely packaged in a kraft bag. The clay balls are durable, sturdy and lightweight - they will not sink into the soil if used as a protective or decorative top layer. Keep Plants HealthyBy placing the balls at the base of your pots, they act as a drainage system which ensures that root rot does not occur due to overwatering. This base layer also improves the breathability inside the pot.
