Just like the ones that came with the Water Filter. Haven't used them just yet saving them for when I need them. Don't really if the do what they say they do and how long they would last. 6000 gallons in a year. Seems all of them need to be replaced once a year and don't last for the 6000 gallons.

I'm a disgruntled owner of the original Berkey rig and i like these filters better than the brand. The originals get clogged so fast and no amount of scrubbing or priming can restore the flow ever again. I've had two pairs and they both ended up in garbage in 6-8 months, using them only with distilled water - which is already pure! These generic brand filters are super efficient and the water is crystal clear, except the very first gallon which you're supposed to discard because it will be cloudy - normal and expected. One thing to note is that i only pour distilled water into these filters because they simply cannot remove moat chemicals or pharmaceuticals or fluoride (even the original brand). I use a water distiller to get 99.99% pure water first. Then just improving the flavor by running it through charcoal filters like these, works for me and it's guaranteed 100% pure water. No filter will ever give you that result, it's simply impossible. Don't rely on any filter if you don't want to drink nasties!
