I purchased this as a gift. Thought it was so cool that I ordered one for my self. I have enjoyed this book a lot. My niece and her husband went crazy when they opened the gift. When I said "magic book" and the book answered, Everyone had to take turns saying "magic book" every time the book responded they all cheered.Fantastic gift ! There is a little issue with the remote. I can't seem to get it to work properly. However the voice command works better. still a little iffy but still a great gift. I know they will enjoy this book.

I bought this for my husband who is a real book nerd and he loves dragons, so it was the perfect combo.

The media could not be loaded. To be honest I am kind of impressed with this cool book/White Noise Machine, it does have a few drawbacks though, first this is loaded with features, it has LED lights for nighttime (red, green, blue, white), pulse mode, alternating color mode, solid color mode, and you can control the brightness.For white noise it features 21 soundtracks, which can loop or go to next sound once the track finishes, it includes Bluetooth support, so you can play your own music or sleep sounds through it, plus this has voice command support, and a remote control!.The book feels really well-made, the cover of the book feels like a PU leather, and the design is embossed in with a textured feel that's a 3 dimensional design, really cool looking, the night light uses the white paper as a reflector, which might be the long term weak point of this item, the paper does feel durable though.I couldn't get the book to stay open in the full 360 degree configuration, it would try to close, perhaps because it's still new, the manual said the book was magnetic, so I tried to fasten it to a steel surface, and there are indeed magnets on the front and back cover near the opening, if you open the book and use both magnets it's possible for the book to stick to a steel surface, however just one cover is not strong enough to hold it.Cons on this device is the voiced narration, and startup sound, when you open the book from fully closed, it plays a chime sound loud at full volume, which would probably wake everyone up if this was opened at night, second is the narrators voice goes with the volume of music, so if you are playing a sleep tune at high volume and go to next track the narrator will say "Go to next track" at the same loud volume level, I am still trying to find a way to turn the narrator off, this almost defeats the purpose as a white noise machine since sometimes if I wake up at night, I want to change the audio track not wake up everyone, so far my method is to mute, next track, then vol + again.Overall I still like this White Noise Machine, just for the artistic value alone I give it 5 stars, and the night light is really cool, as a white noise machine, it does have some good audio track selections, and the sounds are nice and relaxing, the remote control is also a nice feature.I recommend.

This is the most unique, engaging and fun sound machine ever!The cover is just amazing and very well done. It looks so cool. Perfect for dragon lovers and collectors - a very unique dragon item to collect.Entertaining big time, great fun at a get together - was a massive hit as a birthday gift, and had the entire group engaged with watching the birthday person learn how it works. My lord, I am here - had everyone laughing and drawn into playing around with how this book, light and sound machine combo works. Absolutely fantastic - the engagement of everyone around this one device, that's just way cool looking.You do have to learn the voice commands, and you do have to say the same thing over and over, and it does time out pretty fast - but it is totally worth the effort to learn the commands and functions.This really does flip open and makes a completely circular lamp, and is held open with magnets, so no latches or anything like that. I'd say the plastic fins are a bit delicate, but with careful operation they should hold up for a long time. Not a young childs toy for sure.And if you get too frustrated with the voice commands, then you can switch over to remote control for a much easier operation. But the voice command is really fun.Has the USB charging port hidden on the bottom of the book, so it doesn't stand out at all. Easy to charge and holds a charge pretty well.Sound quality is pretty good for the speaker size, not much bass to it, but I didn't expect a super sound system in this. It's good for the intended purpose. And the bluetooth function works really well.Totally with the price for the huge amount of group entertainment, and personal entertainment provided by this unique sound machine.
