Goetze's Caramel Creams The "Original" Caramel Creams 3.5 Lbs

These are so stale and hard and taste disgusting . I should get a refund because I’m going to have to throw the whole bag away.

They taste great and keep very well.

These were not fresh—caramels were hard and unpalatable.

I can't tell you how horrible it was to bite into one of these and nearly break a tooth. Then to look at the best by date!!!!!!! Purchased in Aug 2021 and Best By Date: SEPTEMBER 2020!!!!! And of course by the time I opened them the return had expired. HORRIBLE!

These candies are very fresh. I wonder if they came right from the factory. I will order again. I think I will do so now as I finish the review. They are very tasty and individually wrapped.

I bought these on a whim due to having a horrendous craving for caramels and since my wife wouldn't go out and buy me some of those Kraft caramels I thought I'd show her and buy the biggest bag of caramels possible. I came across this listing and read all the rave reviews and though I'd give them a try since I love caramel and I love cream? Well, obviously these were disappointing. The "cream" = oreo cream + grit and the otherwise lack luster caramels are transformed into something terrible. I was able to push out the cream from the caramels and stomach a few of them but alas the 5lb bag was relegated to the kiddy snacks drawer. I learned my lesson and the joke was on me. Sorry, honey =(

These taste just like “Cow Tails” candy, made by the same manufacturer but are in a different form (slightly). Basically, these candies are just smaller, wider versions with a great caramel outside and a lot of sweet filling inside. These seem to be a better value, on average. I’m a bit ashamed to admit that I enjoyed most of the 3.5 pound bag I ordered but it was great and I’ll be buying these again!!
