Awesome tool that gets it done
It's a basic tool but it helped me get the job done and was simple to use. I like the tool a lot. It's super handy and inexpensive. Had some CAT5e running through the house but the previous owner didn't really use it so I had to locate a few lines at the main panel. This made the job fool proof. I only wish they didn't have all the cables going into a bridged punch down. Thanks to that the tone going down one line made it present on all! Very weird setup so I had to undo all of that. That maybe useful for phones but not network cables.

Works okay. Compact. fits the wire tracker.
I purchased this case and also the LTGEM Hard Case for Wire Tracker. The case will certainly hold the ELEGIANT RJ11 RJ45 Wire Tracker Toner, and is more compact than the LTGEM case, but there no room left over to keep any additional accessories, like extra ethernet cables. I ended up returning this one in favor of the larger LTGEM case.

My attention went right to the price and I didn't notice that it is CASE ONLY. The website shows it with the unit in it so is deceiving. Nice case, but not needed!!!
