Great puzzle!
My 2.5 year old son has been doing these puzzles since he was about 15 months. And still LOVES them. He has moved on to the bigger, 24 piece puzzles now as well, but these are still some of his favorites. They are sturdy enough that I don't worry about him bending them and they are easy for little hands to grasp and put together even at a young age. I love the zippered to go bag they come in - perfect for keeping all of those pieces together! He can open the bag himself now, and it's a great way to tell him he has to clean each puzzle up before moving on to the next. We have had one puzzle that has a little piece of the picture ripped up. But that's bound to happen with a busy little boy. And a little tape fixed it right up. I would HIGHLY recommend these puzzles to any parents looking for a sturdy, fun puzzle for their puzzle loving children!

Well made puzzle for toddlers aged two and up
This is a well-made 12 piece puzzle. I have bought a number of the Mudpuppy pouch puzzles because the quality is so good. My grandson is 2.5 years old and this is just the right size for him at this point. I had originally started out with the 24 piece version but found that it was a little difficult for him to keep his attention on the puzzle to completion. This size is a bit of a challenge but something that he can accomplish on his own.I bought this puzzle thinking I would put it away for my little granddaughter (who is one week old today!) However, when my grandson saw it, he demanded to play puzzles with it. He calls them his pretty dancing girls and enjoys the puzzle almost as much as his pirate one. Once I saw that he liked playing with puzzles regardless of their content, I pulled out the rest of the more "girl" style ones and let him have fun with those, too.I am showing him corners, sides, and regular pieces. With this style puzzle, there are four corners, six side pieces, and two regular or center pieces. We talk about matching colors and looking for missing parts (like a dress or hair or feet.) When we discuss each piece separately, he is able to look for the piece that matches the pattern.Puzzles are an excellent way to practice pattern recognition and improve visual skills. I've always had puzzles on the go, taught my children to enjoy them, and now am thrilled to be passing the fun hobby on to my grandchildren.

Fun Puzzle for Little Ones
I bought this for my 20 month old nephew and he loves it! He's definitely a little too young to be able to put it together, but he loves Brown Bear, Brown Bear so this is a fun way to tell the story while also helping him with his motor skills. The one thing I'll say is that the characters are not positioned in the same order they appear in the book, but that's a very small detail. Even though he can't quite put it together himself yet, it's still fun to talk through the story and identify which animal is which. I'm looking forward to seeing him actually put it together all on his own!

My baby's favorite
We currently own three of these puzzles in different themes and they are my son's favorite. I can really tell the designer for these puzzles put a lot of thought into the small child that would be assembling them. The 12 pieces are large for a toddler hand, making the coordination easier for him. Each piece leaves little clues about where it will connect to another piece and has been a wonderful problem solving tool for his development as well as a lot of fun. He loves the animals that is on the three we purchased and enjoys naming them once he completes it.The bag that it comes in is a lifesaver too. It has a sturdy zipper and colored trim that identifies which puzzle goes in which bag. As long as you store it in the bag they give you, it will last a long time! It's good quality. We did get one very wet accidentally and that did not end well but in my opinion that is to be expected.Great buy! Your baby will love it!

Great Gift
I bought this puzzle as part of my niece’s (2) birthday gift. The pieces are thick enough that she’ll be able to pick them up on her own and they won’t bend. She’ll be able to complete the puzzle with help for now, but it’s not babyish so she’ll still enjoy it as she teaches preschool or early school age. I also like the bright colors and easy to open and close storage bag. The bag takes up less space that a traditional cardboard puzzle box and won’t be easily destroyed.

Good Quality; Nice Storage Pouch
This is a great puzzle. This seller makes a lot of similar puzzles like this one (I’ve purchased a few) and they are all pretty great. The pieces are made of thick, good quality and the colors and graphics are very bright and pleasant. My toddler enjoys it (she has used it several dozen times and doesn’t seem to be getting bored with it yet) and I really appreciate the nice pouch that it comes in for organized storing and taking on the go. The pieces fit together nicely and smooth. The description says 24 months-4 years, and I somewhat disagree with that. I think it is a good starter puzzle for toddlers, but older kids (>3) would probably find it too simple and not challenging enough. This also makes a great gift. I would recommend this product to other parents.

Happy toddler
My 2-year-old niece loves this puzzle! The bright colors aid her in assembling it, and she loves to chuckle at the oddly colored animals. She doesn't seem to tire of it - as soon as she completes the puzzle, she carefully disassembles it and happily puts it together again. The pieces are just the right size and thickness for her to work with. She's had the puzzle for 7 months now and it is still in great condition.
