The media could not be loaded. I searched for WEEKS trying to find a babydoll that looked real. I wanted a reborn for my daughter but I can’t afford the $100+ dolls so I settled on one from Amazon even though I have heard terrible things about Amazon reborns. I am so happy to say this doll is worth the money! I was terrified that she would be plastic and feel fake but she doesn’t! Her plastic is soft and flexible. The details in this doll are amazing. She looks so real and not creepy like some realistic dolls are. Her hair is so soft. It doesn’t feel like fake hair at all. It almost feels like real baby hair! And it’s long enough to style. She’s not heavy but also not too light. Honestly I don’t have a single complaint about this doll other than I wish her legs were more straight and not in a sitting position. Other than that she’s perfect!

I just got this doll for my birthday. It's really cute and looks like a real baby. The skin is very soft and very realistic, including actual veins. The weight is just right for kids, a little heavy but not too heavy. She has a very nice face. Her eyes don't open, so no creepy doll eyes. She has a soft body, so she is great for sleeping with. I love playing with my doll.

I don’t write a ton of reviews but this baby is SO cute. My daughter is getting her in a few days for her 6th birthday. She does already have a “realistic baby” that was significantly more expensive but I personally like this one better. The other one doesn’t quite look like a newborn, hence the purchase of this one. This baby is not quite as weighted as the other but I don’t see that being an issue for a 6 yr old or any kid. Her size is perfect for a newborn. Its hair does have some spots that are slightly thinner but to be honest, I think it makes it look more real. A lot of newborns have thinner spots. The other baby has a poor quality wig that makes it almost impossible to do anything with the hair because you can see the lines where it’s sewn in. It also has lost both arms and they needed reattached. This baby’s are attached differently and seem like they’ll hold up better. The positioning of it is great too. No matter how you set her down, her arms and legs are in a natural looking pose. If you’re considering this doll vs others, get this one. She’s perfect, especially for the price.Both babies are pictured. Left is the first we owned that was close to $100. Don’t mind her hair, it could look better but it never looks good. It had a few more accessories but nothing extravagant. Right is the new baby. The difference in looks are worlds apart and I’m really happy with the decision to get this one for my girl.

This doll was purchased for an adult collector and some minor modifications have been made, weighted and a haircut. The first photo is the doll prior to weighting and having her haircut. The changes have only improved an already beautiful doll.I am not a reborn collector, so am not qualified to compare this item to the hand crafted dolls you might find on Etsy and other sites for hundreds or more dollars. However, I can speak to what I see in person and the price I paid.The vinyl used for this doll does have a soft texture when touched and gives when squeezed. It is not hard plastic or flimsy. She does not have a plastic ring around her neck (between the plastic of the neck and the body), so her head is not easily moved side to side. In face, it is almost stationary.The face, hands, and feet are all painted nicely. My dolls paint is even. For the “sculpted” areas, such as her eyelashes, eyes, and lips, the paint is applied well and within the proper area. My doll has an area around her nose where it looks like the finish might have slightly pooled before drying, but it is not a problem for me.Her hair was very soft when she arrived, but that finish seems to wear off with handling. Now, her hair has a courser feel. Her hair was designed to “swirl” around her head to be styled. I did not like this as the length made styling difficult because it constantly needed to be styled…think comb over. I trimmed the hair and now I love the look of her hair as it lays more naturally.The body is cloth and a little reminiscent of a plucked turkey prior to dressing. Having changed her a few times I can say the fabric used for the body is piling. However, once dressed, she looks very nice and again this is not a problem for me.She has nice, light scenting. Seems to be a baby powder scent. Not overpowering and does fade over time.Her original outfit and headband are well made and cute. I was happy with their quality but they are not a selling point for me.Preemie clothes fit best minus diapers and footed pajamas. For those items the newborn size seems to fit better.Within the listing, the customer photos do look to have come off of Etsy for a silicon doll with the same face sculpt…that creator’s hand crafted doll are on a much different level than these dolls and their work should be credited to them. Disappointing, that is the case. This doll is lovely on her own and there is no need to include misleading information. I was grateful for the other reviews that included pictures of this doll.Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase. She’s not perfect, but she’s pretty close for the price. As a collector, this doll is a beautiful and inexpensive way to dip into the world of more realistic dolls.

I purchased this Doll as a Christmas Present for my Daughter. I scoured Amazon trying to find my exact specifications for this specific type of Doll with the intent for the gift to be from my Grandma in Heaven. They were very close so losing her has been hard. This doll went above and beyond expectations. She is absolutely stunning. The hand Painted hands and feet, the details on the face. Even the Hand plucked hair and eyelashes looked so natural, from the back you can’t even tell it’s a doll because of how fine the hair is. It mimics a newborn hair pattern and looks natural.the Cloth body starts at the shoulder so the arms can be rotated, and while the pictures show the cloth body going past the hips it doesn’t limit the dolls mobility. The hips can be put into a sitting position and the cloth body is soft and huggable. The soft vinyl limbs give the baby doll a snuggly feel. Perfect for Kiddos Over all I am very blown away by this product. I have no complaints.
