Easy Origami for Kids and Teens: 50 Models. First Book Step by Step

I bought this book for my niece because she loves making things. At first I thought it might be too hard for her (8 years old), but the instructions were so easy to follow. She’s been having loads of fun since! Really handy having the video links incase she does get stuck.

Bought this for a friend as he likes to make paper aeroplane so thought he could develop hes skills

There are lots of fun things to make and we are making our way with some success through most of them, but from time to time the instructions are not clear enough for my 10 year old to follow without some help from me and as a beginners book they should be. It's a good present for a keen origami-er but I think a true beginner would struggle enough that they risk giving up on it.

I was disappointed as it wasn't colourful inside..looked uninspiring.

I bought this as a present for my 9 year old with a pack of square origami paper however nearly every design requires a rectangle shape which resulted in a little boy becoming very frustrated that his designs weren't working.So if u are buying this book buy rectangle paper.

The media could not be loaded.  I already have two of these books, ordered a second one today. My daughter and son can't share one book, which was given to us by an acquaintance. We loved it and so we just had to place a new order for the book.The book contains 50 patterns, some seemed complicated but with the help of the video we were able to figure it out.Important to know: some models are made with rectangular paper and some with square paper. It is better to have both kinds, it is easier.The price/quality here is excellent.p.s. Advice to the author: next time make a color book, let it be more expensive, but for children it is more interesting.

Gave to my friends boys for Xmas. They really enjoyed.

I am giving it two stars because some of the animals come with a qr code with which you can watch a video. The step by step is not easy to follow, not clear (see picture 2) and it is in black and white, making it difficult to recognize lines and sides.My 9 year old was frustrated with the explanations. It's a pity because the book has potential.

This is a popular book for the school library. Librarians, consider handing out some origami paper with the book.
