Premium Quality Sheep Skin Whole Nappa Soft Leather Hide - NO Holes & CUTS (Tan)

Very nice leather but one problem, it's painted. I got the white so I could dye it whatever color I wanted when I eventually decided on one. This was for a book cover. I thought it was bleached, undyed leather but it turns out it's been painted with leather paint. The quality of the painting is top notch (I couldn't tell until it was too late) and I have no complaints about it. Clearly they know what they're doing. The hide is very nice and incredibly supple. But since I didn't know it was white paint when I tried to dye it the alcohol based dye mixed with the white paint and came out very pale. I was able to strip it back with rubbing alcohol and a lot of scrubbing and then it took the dye just fine. But good golly it was a lot of extra work I hadn't planned on doing. I will definitely order from them again, like I said it's great leather, but be aware of the paint. Get the color you want or use leather paint over the existing finish. Dye just isn't the way to go with this. Please don't let this review keep you from ordering from them. Im giving them 5 stars because it was my ignorance at fault and I would definitely recommend it to other people. But they really should state what the finish is more clearly on the listing. That was my only problem.

Through spots on the surface of the skin do not allow it to be used in the required dimensions.On August 7, I paid for two pieces of leather. You have sent two leathers with obvious defects. I returned your defective item to you on September 4th and requested a full refund. You confirmed your intention to return my money and... I'm still waiting for my money. A shame!

The hide was beautiful; soft with rich color. Now a caveat. I am using with the suede side showing and there is a streak in the color, but for what I am doing it does not matter. But if you plan to use the suede side you might proceed with caution. Maybe contact the seller and let them know.

it is nice and stretchy, soft, pliable. It is real sheepskin, but the front face is painted, even on the natural colors. As such, it doesn't accept a conditioner to deepen the color. Good price. Good product if you're ok with the paint.

The good:It's SUPER soft, feels amazing. The leather quality is great and it will suit my needs perfectly. It got here really fast, too. This stuff is 2oz leather, so incredibly thin and supple. Color is great, but I haven't tested for color bleed, yet.The bad:Whoever measured this as "7-10 sqft" needs to find a new career. Even if I took the measurements from the largest L x W, it still only comes out to which is still only 6.5 square feet. Calculating variations in the width and length of the skin, it's much closer to 5.75'². It is very small, much smaller than I expected. When something is marketed as 7-10sqft I'm expecting between 7.5 and 9.5sqft, not below the minimum measurement.Overall:For the price, compared to other vendors on Amazon, it's still a pretty good deal, however, if you're shopping with specific dimensional needs in mind, I'd suggest looking elsewhere.

This leather would work for an exterior of a Bible cover, but I think it is optimal for the liner instead. I think it’s just too soft for an exterior of the cover. No holes and color is nice and even. I just wished they would ship it in a roll instead of folding it as that causes creasing that isn’t easy to remove.

The dark olive green I got in this leather in is beautiful - soft, supple and workable for bag making and the reverse is just as lovely. I'm using it to line a bag that will feature a darker green leather on the outside. I expect this leather to make for a very luxurious interior. It's worth the price

This leather is beautiful and so soft, easy to work with while making my teddy bears.

It's soft and whole. Nice even colour. No cuts or holes. But they sent me black and I ordered brown. It's fine. I just have a two/three coloured bag now lol.
