Pleasant HearthEdinburgh Glass Firescreen Gunmetal - Small

This is beautiful and elegant in the gun metal color, and I love that it has the solid mesh screen doors (as opposed to those old floppy hanging screens of yesteryear) behind the glass doors, which by the way can open all the way out so it lays pretty flat against my brick wall. Then when the fire is out, it looks so pretty with the closed doors. We did have to purchase some more insulation, as there was not enough that came with it to keep the smoke from coming through. Installation required a couple of people, as this is pretty heavy, and was a bit difficult but honestly I have yet to see one that’s easy to do. Also we have a large fireplace and it’s not so easy to find nice firescreen doors in the size we needed that can be installed as a “built in”. Very pleased!!!

Very nice product. Arrived in 2 days. Shipped safely. Took about 45 mins to install with basic tools. I'm not sure why several people are saying the color isn't as described. To me it was exactly as it appears on Amazon. (See attached pic I took of mine)

The product looks great in our mid-century house. Good value for the cost. Fit great and installation was not a problem. I think that the color is real close to the photos of the product. The only thing that I am not sure about is when is it safe to close the glass doors. I would like to close them before going to bed and after the fire has burned down to coals. I did that the the first night and it worked fine. I have posted the question to see what other people have experienced with the doors.

The Hearth is a very heavy quality product. I just love the screens and the glass doors. Previous products had the screens mounted on a chain type closure and never seemed to work correctly. These screens are in frames that are magnetized and close beautifully. The glass doors are sturdy and close tightly. This product is more expensive than most but “you get what you pay for” and in this case I’m very happy with the quality and the price!

This is an amazing addition to my family room. Easy to install. Didn't break the bank.Only critique is make sure have extra insulation. The pieces it comes with are adequate but I wanted to make sure I didn't have a draft.

Brought new life to my living space! Cool product, but I think it is a little susceptible to high heat. Found the screens inside of the doors are starting to warp.

We did a full remodel of our fireplace, the contractor installed the screen and there were no issues. The screen itself is fabulous. I love the magnetic closure and it helps to keep the chimney draft out.

I was nervous about ordering this online just for the sight-unseen factor. It is beautiful, fits perfectly, was easy to install and looks great! There was a problem with the initial order - damage to the box and product, likely in shipping - but the return and replacement could not have been easier. A replacement was shipped to us immediately without wiring for us to return the first. We get many compliments on the look and feel of this product (color, quality of the metal, nice heavy glass doors and hardware.)

Beautiful but couldn't install b/c it was an inch too big. Looks very well made.
