Smells like candy and feels good. Holds well and gives a natural look

I’m currently growing my hair out. It’s currently long enough 95% of my bangs and side fit in a ponytail (like Geralt from the Witcher) I was using some stuff my wife uses to slick the rest back and it made my head itchy. I tried the clay formula 49 not too impressed with hold and hard to spread evenly. BUT this stuff holds my hair great and ease to use smells great.

I got both versions, original & rugged. The original had hard little pieces in it, I don't think they were supposed to be there. Made it difficult to use.The Rugged version was much better, no hard pieces, very creamy with a great fragrance & strong hold. Either one works well, the hard pieces in the original were likely an anomaly. That was my reason for only 4 stars. The Rugged version was a 5 star!

Easy to use, washes out super easy. Holds all day long even in the heat. High quality with no dry scalp to speak of. I recommend it

First time trying this pomade… I have tried lots of different brands in the past. I have been very happy with another brand (uppercut) but I needed a pomade that I could restyle on the go with just my hands. The hold on Johnny Slicks Water Based is not stiff or crusty… it just holds hair in place. The scent is wonderful and not a high glossy look. This is now my go to product when filming. I also love that this has natural ingredients for hair health. Will definitely be ordering more of their products.

This is my 2nd jar. I tried the original and now the rugged. This product is hard to wash out! The rugged smells more like flowers and sweet and candle scent then the original. I highly suggest to stick with a different brand if you are looking for a manly scent based on the 2 jars I have tried.

This product may be a little pricy. But dang! It smells amazing. Great shine and hold. First time I used it, definitely used too much. I had to wash my hair out with shampoo 3 times to get it all out. (My fault) but second time used very little and did me great. Did I mention it smells absolutely amazing ???
