Great Quality and VALUE!
I just received this new AIRWAVE Headset Mic for go with my SHURE ULX Body Pack. I was replacing my Countryman E6 Headset that broke (3rd one in 4 years). The Countryman's are great, but they are so expensive and always seem to break after a year or so. I was hesitant at first at this price, but so far I have been pleasantly surprised! The Sound Quality is Excellent and it also comes with a clip for my shirt.Also happy that the cables are replaceable and cheap!

Countryman Substitute
The sound quality is excellent. The only comment that I have is that if you move about enthusiastically, the headset tends to slip. If I had to do it again, I would purchase the Airwave Technologies HSD-SLIMLINE+DE AT TAN Dynamic Microphone, Omni which has 2 ear loops and a neck strap. However, if you are using it for speaking, teaching, preaching, etc., it is a great product.

Compatibility Issues
I bought the microphone as a back-up for Countryman microphone. Unfortunately, despite claims to the contrary, it was clear that there was a compatibility problem, with two units. The first unit would not transmit sound to the wireless receiver (which works fine using the Countryman microphone). So, I ordered a replacement - same problem. I contacted Airwave Technologies tech support and outlined the problem. I had hoped that they would send some guidance or suggestions, but I was ignored and so I returned the second unit. I will not try a third time. The one bright spot: the ease and efficiency of returning the item. Kudos to Amazon.

Reconsider this purchase
Tan color has an orange/tan shade to it. Not a natural look. Stem is slightly LONG.But the worst part...Replacement cable is $35.00 and is unique to this microphone.

good product
I was a little nervous about switching from Countryman headsets, but when three of them went out within a month with little warning, the $400 pricetag for countryman x 3 units was a bit steep. Took a leap of faith with these guys for a lot less money and so far they have been great.
