We bought this for our newborn, sturdy, volume is quite loud on the maximum. The baby sleeps a lot easier with it on, he is 6 months now and we use it at every nap/car ride. The price is reasonable. Having lights is a bonus. Battery lasts for a long time. Would recommend.

This noise machine is excellent, timer function is good to allow up to 1.5hours of noise at bedtime. Drowns out any other noises/distractions to help our little one sleep.

This machine is amazing. I bought several sound machines for my house when my child was born in order to soothe him. They were at least twice the price of this one. After using them for a while I got sick of crackly sound that they were producing and decided to replace one of them with something different. I chose Big Red Rooster machine because it had great reviews and I also liked the way it looked. I was definitely a little skeptical because it wasn't a brand name and the price point was a little low. However, I figured the brand name ones I have were horrible so it couldn't be much worse. Not only Big Red Rooster is better, it is actually an outstanding machine. Very compact and the sound is amazingly clear, no crackling. I could honestly compare it to my Bose speaker sound quality. So if you are thinking about ordering it-do it. Worst case it can be returned but I doubt it would come to that.

It is small enough that it does not take up so much space on my desk.✔ It has the option to plug in an earphone! Finally! A smart idea, isn't it? This is a small white noise machine that comes in a nice retail package and would make a great gift item.We have had a couple of similar sounding devices in the past and when I was offered this in exchange for an unbiased review on amazons vine program I thought why not try it, we now have a granddaughter and this could come in handy.It has a built in battery and comes with a USB-C charging lead included in the box (No 3 pin uk plug though) so you will have to dig out an old mobile phone charger or get a plug socket with a USB built in.I am a big fan of these products switching to the USB-C standard, it is superior to the old style plugs because it is more robust and there is no chance of you accidentally trying to put the wrong size socket in and ruining the device in the process!It has quite a lot of small buttons on the front, which will take a little while to navigate.The bottom right turns it on, the bottom left is used to set 30, 60 or 90 minutes before it shuts down.The two between are volume up and volume down, all easy enough to figure out.The top left turns on the light round the edge of the device, the one to the right of this changes the colour of the light. The centre top button makes only white noise sounds and cycles through different pitches of sound, the button to the right of this with a fan symbol on it makes sounds like different fans again in different pitches, the last button on the top right is my favourite!The top right button make all of the different sounds that make this machine a real joy, a true step up from previous versions we have had. A ticking clock, a train carriage, a thunderstorm, running water, rain, a fountain, a crackling fire, a dripping tap (Not sure about that one tbh!) a heartbeat, a music box, the list goes on and on! Incredibly all of the recording play beautifully are crisp and clear, I have the birdsong on now and it is lovely!Even better it has been designed so that it remembers the last settings you used and when turned on goes straight to that, so it is completely faff free!To say the least I am very impressed with this little device, it has a good quality speaker built in that is more than capable of playing its myriad of sounds at a fire higher volume than you need to go to sleep.You can easily charge it and put it in a child's bedroom with no worries about the power lead becoming a problem.I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this item to a friend or family member and to you!We will be keeping it ready for when our granddaughter next has a sleepover.Happy to help
