Art3d Drop Ceiling Tiles, 24x48in. Black (12-Pack)

These tiles were a lightweight and inexpensive solution to upgrade my basement drop ceiling. Half the price of similar looking, but sturdier tiles available at Lowe’s. I am a 63 year old woman, and I did the replacement myself (except where light fixtures need replacing). The whole ones were an easy swap. Cuts were more annoying because you have to carve back the 3-D grooves so they lay flat without sagging. They are flexible enough to fold into tighter spaces, and they snap back to shape.CONS: Some tiles had “dimples” in their centers that are barely noticeable, but noticeable. Cut tiles leave a visible space where the grooves hang below the grid. A minor issue.Over all, I am very pleased with the result, for the cost.

Package arrived with corner crunched and all the panels inside were crunched in that corner too. Luckily this didn’t matter as we cut off the bottom portion anyways. Used these on the wall in a high potting shelf to give a room more character. Went together easily. Use sharp heavy duty scissors when cutting to avoid cracking.

I bought this product to be put intolerable my ceiling. Can’t wait to have them installed

Easy to install… looks so classy

So as you can see, I ordered quite a few to redo a popcorn ceiling. I am happy with the results, but when I received the last box, the corners of every tile were broken. Oddly, I did not have this problem with the first 3…. How disappointing. You would think that all 4 corners would be protected.

Can be cut but you have to be careful to keep from spliting. Using a really sharp tool helps. Colors are darker than they appear. I ordered copper and expected "new penny" shade but got "old penny" shade. I still like it though and no more popcorn ceiling. Overall pleased with the look.

We decided to go another route after several came broken and our party was that weekend we didn't have time to wait on replacements, so we painted the ceiling black instead , it turned out so good, we decided against the tiles. The tiles themselves were nice looking. Just need better packaging.

I’m renovating my dining room and purchased these tiles for track system. They’re beautiful and exactly what I was looking for but unable to find at local home improvement stores. I had to purchase 3 cases of these to fit the square footage of my ceiling. I received them in a timely manner but only because the neighbor three blocks away told me she had them. This was an order of over 500$ That I may not have received at all. My package was delivered to a completely different street address. When I picked them up from the neighbor’s house, the box was open so I hope the tiles were not damaged.Update: these tiles, once installed, look fantastic. They needed to be cut in order to fit my uneven old home. It was fairly easy to cut them to size without worrying about them breaking on me. I am pleased with this purchase, and plan to order again for another project coming up.

I am gluing them up on my ceilings over the drywall. So far so good with Lepage fast grap. They are looking pretty nice. Cannot even tell they are pvc:)The only negative part is medium pvc smelt hopefully is going to fade. And they are magnit for the dirt!Unbelievable price, good quality!

It gives the room a grand look.It’s beautiful

Looks great, but does not feel great. Cheap and flimsy material. Definitely not worth the asking price, just charging what they can.
