Organic Doctor Virgin Olive Oil, Skin Lotion, 6.8 Fluid Ounce

I originally purchased this lotion in a vitamin store and love how natural it feels and smells good too. Now I order it online from Amazon and keep it on hand. I also use it on my face.

Perfect product. My moms hands are allergic to soaps & most lotions. This product is perfection & stops the itching and dryness. Love it!!

I use extra Virgin Olive Oil for much of my home cooking, but never considered using a skin lotion made from it. I am very glad I gave this one a try. It does not smell like olive oi, probably because it has other ingredients like aloe vera juice, cocoa butter, shea butter, apple extract, black currant extract, lemon peel extract, thyme extract, and fennel extract (that are all 70-100% organic). The fragrance is very light and pleasant. My face has both oily and dry areas so I decided to test this lotion on my arms and legs, which are usually very dry, and was I pleased! Although the lotion is absorbed quickly, the result is a natural, smooth feeling on my skin.The lotion advertises that it is suitable for vegetarians and vegans and that the company is against animal testing. I appreciate those statements and am very happy that the company making the lotion is apparently animal friendly. This lotion is a “keeper” for me and I can recommend it highly if you are dealing with dry skin that needs moisturizing.

Yes, my skin has become drier and more sensitive with age. I need to drink more water, but I don’t have time to run to the bathroom every thirty minutes. I normally use Suave Skin Solutions Body Lotion, Soothing with Aloe, because it has aloe vera which is known to heal dry skin. I was thankful that the Amazon Vine Program offered me the Organic Virgin Olive Oil Skin Lotion from Organic Skin Care Doctor. It also has aloe vera. In fact, its chief ingredient is aloe barbadensis leaf juice. I’ve used other body lotions that listed alcohol as its chief ingredient. I could not use them on my face; they had a dehydrating effect that turned my face dry and red. I can use the Organic Virgin Olive Oil Skin Lotion all over my body, including my face. I’ve been using it for two weeks and have not experienced any adverse side effects. This lotion is white and creamy and is easily absorbed into my skin. It doesn’t leave a greasy feeling. It remains on my skin practically all day. Tis lotion has a slight fragrance that is clean and refreshing. I have to practically touch my nose to the tube’s opening in order to smell it. I can’t detect it after rubbing it into my skin. Because of its aloe vera, it is great to use on sunburned skin. Also, when I apply this lotion to my face, it plumps up the skin around my eyes and mouth, decreasing bothersome age lines. I cook a lot of chicken in extra virgin olive oil because it keeps it tender and juicy. I never thought I would be rubbing olive oil on my skin. In conclusion, I will say that I am one of those people who looks ten years younger than their actual age. I’m not a health fanatic who exercises daily and avoids carbs. I do, however, avoid too much exposure to the sun and I daily use a lot of body lotion with aloe vera. I think that body lotion with aloe vera is great but body lotion with aloe vera and virgin olive oil is even better. I highly recommend the Organic Virgin Olive Oil Skin Lotion from Organic Skin Care Doctor.

This is the first bioactive skin product I have tried, and I wasn't sure what to expect. It is fairly thick, so a small amount is able to go a long way. It does rub on easily and quickly. After applying it takes a few minutes to dry, so you will want to allow some time before getting dressed. I like how soft and smooth my skin feels after applying.The ingredients claim to be 70-100% organic and it has a very nourishing ingredient list that includes: Virgin olive oil, olive fruit oil, olive leaf extract, grape vine extract, aloe vera juice, cocoa butter, shea butter, vitamin A,C,E, apple extract, blackcurrant extract, lemon peel extract, thyme extract, fennel extract. The actual ingredient list that appears lower on the bottle and in small print, shows more ingredients, some of which are questionable. I do like that it is free from: parabens, SLS, artificial colors, phthalates, harsh preservatives.The main concern I have is the "fragrance" listed in the ingredients because we don't know what was used to get the fragrance. The actual scent is mild and I don't mind it, I am just trying to get away from products that have "fragrance" listed.Overall I like this lotion and since only a small amount is needed for application, it should last a while. I I don't think I will use it as a moisturizer everyday but will save for they days I feel my skin is extra dry because of how hydrating it is.

I have not used the Organic Dr. Skin lotion for long, but it is oily, and takes a few mins to absorb into my hands. I used this on my legs, and feet, which this absorbed better then on my hands! but I have to say, I did notice a softness! Maybe it is more hydrating, hard to say.Do not use this on your face, its a body lotion.This is a white cream. When I sit down to watch Tv in the evening, I put this on my hands , and keep massaging it in.Good size tube to travel with. 6.8 oz.There is No scent, and this is Not tested on animals, which is a plus .Says, Suitable for vegetarians and vegans. (don’t eat it)70% - 100% organic ingredients. Confusing to me!The ingredients are too small for me to even read! ( a pet peeve !) .Says it't manufactured in the UK, made in the EU, offices in N.Y.?.!!I think this is a 3 1/2 stars, but I'm giving it 4 stars.

I have sensitive skin and v was looking for something with natural ingredients. This has a strange smell, could be the oil. It also made my skin sting a lot when I used it so unfortunately didn't work for me

Use this as part of my regular routine - once a week face mask. Lovely!
