Subwoofer box
This item was very good and easy to install. The size is what I was looking for and it even had wires already installed inside of it. It’s very easy to use as long as you know how to wire it up.

Nice bang for you buck!!!!
I read the reviews before I purchased a set of these boxes. The construction is really good. I also like the fact that it is black carpet instead of the normal grey carpet. Some of the reviews mentioned putting pollyfill in the boxes. I loosely place pollyfill in the box before I installed the speakers. The bass is actually deeper and crisper at lower volumes. You have to be careful with the pollyfill because you are suppossed to put 1 lb per 1.5 cubic square feet or something like that. A good rule of thumb is just loosely pack it in. If you have too much polyfill it over work your speakers and cause the to fail prematurely.I am pleased with the boxes. Shipping takes a little longer but it is worth the wait.

Completely honest opinion
This little box actually surprised me. At the price point, I am used to those crapy “built it yourself” Walmart Scosche boxes. This box was completely assembled out of the box. This was a very gesture that I wasn’t expecting.Product packaging was very minimal. The unit was packed in a (mostly) fitted cardboard box. The unit didn’t slide or bang around in the box. There was also a celephsne tape to protect the carpeting on the box from dirt and debris.Design honestly confused me just a bit. At the size of this box, every square inch of cubic footage is a must. It was a surpise to see about a 3/4” step in at each size of the box. Space is at a premium and I feel this was just a waste of it.The materials were a haphazard mix of good and bad. The wood is indeed MDF, the subwoofer box standard. The box was covered in fresh and brightly glistening carpet. The terminal cup in the back supports up to 10 gauge wire via banana clips. However, the inside of the terminal has approximately 14 gaige soldered to the end of long spade forks that screw in. Not to spit in the space of the person thoughtful enough to make this plug and play but, I would have much preferred slide and crimp on connectors on the wires. It would be much quicker to slide these off and add a larger size of wire to match the 10 gauge I already had in the truck.Materials needed are minimal. Just add ferrules on the wires going into the terminal cup and ferrules, slip on crimps, or solder your connections onto your subwoofer. Mounting screws are usually provided with the subwoofer. Grilles are customer optional and not included. Change the wire inside the box if desired...possible but a few minutes of work. Also, you will need to provide your own filler material.

Makes my mirrors vibrate / adds a little extra low end
I bought this and the Infinity Reference 860w 8-Inch sub due to limited space in my new little car and priorities changing as I am now married and "growing up" With the same amp set up as my last car, I can say this sounds about as nice as the 10 inch pioneer sub I had in a full sized box. Quite happy. If you want to save some space and aren't trying to win contests, just want to feel the kick and bass give you a punch in your gut and shake the mirrors a little, than this should be enough. I have it sitting on the floor between the drivers seat and back seat facing forward - car is 2004 Ford Focus ZX3 hatchback - I didn't want to sacrifice trunk space for this and was glad I didn't have to.

Really impressed with the build quality
I wasn't expecting anything amazing for the price but the fit and finish around the corners is perfect and the seal job inside is clean. I have always built my own boxes in the past because the junk at places like best buy can't compete in price or quality or looks with what you can build yourself for $30 and an afternoon, but this one does. Fits my standard depth Polk 8" perfectly.Other thoughts: would be nice if it had arrived with the carpeting cut back 1/8" or so from the hole for the seal on the back of the sub to contact the wood but it's not like that's a hard thing to do myself. The wires inside it are a bit dinky, maybe 18ga, but who uses the wires that come with anything anyway? Easy to swap a new set onto the posts as it's a good quality connector.

Subwoofer opening too small.
My DVC 8" Scar sub did not fit into this box without modification. Also box say's its made in china when the seller suggests its made in the USA.

good quality small box that the infinity 860w fits into...
I just purchased this box and the infinity 860w sub. For all with depth questions, the sub does indeed fit, just wired it up and drove around now. The box wiring isn't the best quality but it works flawlessly. It did need about a minute of hand filing as the whole was a tiny bit too small, but all in all, spent about 10 minutes and it sounds amazing, while not taking up precious room in a 370z (fits on shelf behind seats). I took the chance not knowing if it'd work, it did, and I highly recommend it. I'm feeding it 300w rms and it hits as hard and tight as higher wattage 10's I've has year ago. I paired it with amped polk db6501 components and I couldn't be happier, and I used to be a big audiophile.

Waste of money
Wasn't even the size it claimed to be. I ordered a 12" box and got a 8". Waste of money
