Bright and Handy LEDs, 12V DC Adapter to Power
They're super efficient, running on just 12V and 1.2 watts, and they pump out 150 Lumens in a crisp white (6000 Kelvin). Plus, they're waterproof, so you can use them inside or out.You get 10 LEDs in a pack, each lasting about 50,000 hours – that's a lot of light for the buck. They're not too bulky either (1.68 pounds, 12.44 x 5.79 x 1.93 inches) and the light direction is adjustable.Quick tips:Make sure you have a 12V DC connection to power these lights

As described- but a little more info in the description would have helped me avoid mistakes
I ordered this item so I could change out the florescent bulb in my Pepsi machine with some led lighting that would be more energy efficient. There were some bumps in this project, as I was trying to wire it directly into my existing pop machine wiring. I was finding snippets of information on the web about how to get this all to work, and I had to try several different items before I landed on something that worked. I probably spent $30 on different LED drivers and transformers to get this set up. I ended up using these in a different machine that I could get to work better and went with a different setup in the original pop machine. The instructions consisted of "get a professional electrician to set these up" and you know that everyone that purchases these lights on Amazon does exactly that. *wink wink*These are a high quality product with some pretty strict requirements, so do make sure you're willing to mess around with them before purchasing. They require some electrical know how and are not for amateurs. You'll want to order a different product from Amazon if you're looking for a plug and play solution.

These are project lights, and are not designed to be plug and play!
I really like the versatility these lights offer, and how very bright they are! They are designed to be the light inside a lighted sign that you would custom build, but there are many other possible uses such as under cabinet lighting in the kitchen, etc. You get a box of 100 3 led units. connected in 20 unit strips prewired to each other. They have self stick tape attached, but also have holes to screw them in if you prefer. You will need to have some ability to work with wiring, they are 12 volt and you will need a 12 volt power supply. You could use a battery, but you will need to be able to charge it. If you connect all the lights up to one power supply, it needs to be at least 10 amp capability. Also, if you connect all of them, they have a Maximum in series of 20 lights. If you are connecting them all to one power supply you will need to run parallel wiring to each group of two. Ten segments are the equivalent of a 75 watt incandescent bulb. These bulbs have a lot of possible uses, and are a good buy. It is important that you understand you need to wire them, and have a large battery or a 10 to 12 ampere 12 volt DC power supply.

Nice design, nice build
I really like these! 12 volt LED strands and no controller. Seriously, no having a controller for these is an advantage for me. You have 5 distinct sets, each can be split apart into the individual 3 light units. You can easily make the desired light strand as long or short as you want. For me, one of these sets will go into my chicken coop, another into my popup camper. I will probably set another in my basement as emergency lighting.5 stars, exactly what I wanted, well designed, well made and bright.Note: I have been an Amazon customer for almost 20 years. I write all of my reviews to reflect my personal observations and opinions on a product. It matters not if I have purchased the item myself or if it was provided to me for review. My goal is to provide other potential customers as much real-world knowledge as possible to make an informed decision. In most cases I will return to my review in 6 months or less to see if I should alter my original observations. In no case will the cost of a product influence my opinions at all. In addition, I will try to include multiple images and or videos on each product, if practical.

Satisfied
Im shocked at how hard this type of lighting is to find.Im using this as custom aquarium lighting and as lights for a small set of stairs.Make sure to seal the cut end of the wires when you cut the units apart.

Bright LED lights
I used two strips of these (twenty modules) to go around a double-wide doorway for an activity and received several comments/compliments from people who attended. The LEDs are bright enough that we were able to turn the main room light off at our snack stand. The lights come in strips of 20 modules. The manufacturer put them all side by side not only for packaging but so that they could use a single piece of double-sided tape on the back of them. When preparing to install the modules, you'll need to take a pair of scissors and cut the tape between each module. I didn't mind doing this, just something to be aware of.Another item to be aware of, which other reviewers appear to have missed, is that the instructions say not to connect more than 20 modules in series...hence another reason they are packaged in strips of 20. In order to use more than one strip of 20, you'll need to connect them in parallel to the 12VDC power supply. I did this and did not have any problems with any of the modules dimming. At 1.2 watts per module, a strip of 20 requires 24 watts. In my case, two strips of 20 required 48 watts. These LED strips do not come with the 12VDC power supply.

Good for a project
Nice and bright. Good for a project, you have to supply your own power supply and solder the lights in. Lights are light and can mount just about anywhere.
