Tops in Durability
We had a pair of chairs similar to these, made of wood with cushions and on rollers. Rolling my wife around, with our dog in her lap, broke the chair. Yes, it was my bad. That, however, resulted in our buying these two stalwarts from Chromcraft Douglas. They are of all-steel frame construction, immune to my former misbehaving. They look great, roll around with ease, are comfortable - what's not to like? A few points: the chairs are fabric lined. Solid, attractive. durable but they are fabric. If wiping down kitchen seating is likely in your household, it is something to consider. Installing the rollers using a wooden block and hammer makes the job easy.

Rollers.
First I'm impressed how they were packed because they definitely didn't get good handling and I expected them to be damaged. Second. You should probably tapper the holes for the roller pin to give the snap ring a head start. If I made them. Ok. After messing around with trying to snap the first 2 rollers in place I found a easy way of doing it. I didn't mount the base first to the chair. So I'm only dealing with the base and the rollers. I'm sitting down on a chair with the base between my legs with the mount for the chair to my left side because I'm right handed. So the legs are vertical and not flat on the floor. I put a little Vaseline on the tip of the post for the roller, covering the little snap ring. Then a little on the hole for the post of the roller. So I have my left hand on one side of the chair leg and my right hand pushing on the roller with my legs on either side of the chair leg with it right up in my crotch and squeeze with my legs and hands at the same time. They snap in easy. Rock the post of the roller from side to side and up and down and work the little snap ring on the roller into the hole. If it doesn't go in turn the snap ring to a different position on the post of the roller and try again. ( sorry about the crotch thing but it's the best way I could explain it. The closer the better. Your legs are stronger there. Best of luck. Btw. I like the quality of these chairs so far. Nice.

Nice but hard to assemble and 8.1.23 edit edit
Edit: 8.1.23,we purchased a second set a few months later hoping the wheel installation would have been fixed. It was still nearly impossible to insert the casters. My husband gave up, removed the rings that were stopping them from popping in and added a few drops of super glue.It was so hard to put together I almost sent them back. Once I got them together I love them for the sturdyness, good looking and flexible use. We're actually using them at a table but they can be used in the kitchen or open room concept living room. Very comfortable and I'm happy with them.

These chairs are wonderful!
I got a 52" round table and needed chairs. I bought four of these beautiful chairs, and went back for one more. With the five chairs my dining table is perfect, and the casters allow me and my guests to move around and slide in and out without scratching my floors. I couldn't be happier.

Not sure they are worth the price
Easy to put together. Looks like pictures. Expected thicker foam for seats. They appear to be made well. Quality of materials is good.

Sturdy & Comfortable
I ordered 4 of these chairs for a table in my sunroom. They were easy to put together and are very comfortable. When family comes to visit it seems we gravitate there and they are perfect for that space. I love them !

Nice chairs but Casters are hard to install
The casters are extremely difficult to insert into the holes, especially if you are elderly and do not have a lot of strength in your hands. My husband devised a way to get them inserted and it worked perfectly. See attached pictures. The chairs are well-made and very sturdy. I think we will enjoy them for many years to come. I gave them a four-star because of the lack of instructions about the difficulty of inserting casters. The instructions make it look like they are very easy to insert, which they are not.
