SUSUO Lighting Black Industrial LOFT Steampunk Steel Ceiling Light Industrial Chandeliers with 8 Lights

So after doing a lot of research these lights had the final design I was looking for. However, construction wasn't fully sound until I did some wrench tightening. Think they did this so you can adjust while putting together. Oh, speaking of this, you will need to set aside a few hours to reassemble and fine tune. All parts are powered coated and not broken. One thing I noticed is while tightening up the nuts on each bulb bracket that one fixture (8 total) had the black electrical wire not attached. Being an electrician this was an easy fix and while doing it I ended up rewiring the whole thing (it took me 1 hour to find all the right materials to include heat shrink, connectors, wire and soldering each junction point).When I bought this and read some of the issues with some of the lights not working I new this might be a common problem. I believe this is not because of poor manufacturing but because the way it is disassemble for shipping. For me this proved to be a wonderful experience since I love to tinker and make modifications (personalization) to everything I touch. Probably why steampunk is up my alley.For the light bulbs - really recommend the LED Edison bulbs (8 per fixture). Will include a few pictures of the bulb box that included 4 in each box.One modification I made was replacing the electrical cord with a retro two conductor twisted cable (the pre-installed cable was great quality and would've looked great) to continue with a steampunk theme.The attached pictures shows a fully assembled light with new cord and bulbs installed (bulbs was not included, which is great for me because I'm very particular with my light bulbs).I did buy two of these and will definitely love their looks. If you are the average light fixture consumer expecting out-of-the-box connect and use this will be very challenging, but if you are the steampunk mechanically inclined consumer looking for something that you will have satisfaction assembling and looking at daily you will love the challenge and look.

This is one of those "it should be less than zero" reviews.I ordered this light a week ago. It arrived in pieces. Not just falling apart pieces... little bits of broken plastic pieces. This item is packed in the poorest way.I returned that fixture and Amazon got a replacement to me within 2 days. Cool, right?... Nope, I learned from the first box that if it rattles when you lightly shake it there's likely a problem inside. The replacement rattled. And upon opening the box it too was in pieces. Not just falling apart pieces... little bits of broken plastic pieces.Loose nuts I can fix. Broken plastic... nope, nadda, ain't going to happen.Clearly the manufacturer has no concept of how to pack an item like this for shipping.I so wanted to get one of these fixtures because I really like the look. Sadly it looks like the only way I can get one is in pieces... Not just falling apart pieces... little bits of broken plastic pieces.I suppose I'll have to return the bulbs I bought for this too, unless... maybe the third time really could be the charm?!

The pictures make it seem like it’s an all in one lighting fixture. There’s one area that says no lightbulbs included and that’s it the pictures and description make it seem like what you see is what you get. The quality of the fixture is poor it’s mostly plastic and mounting isn’t easy. Wouldn’t order from this company ever again.

cool looking light fixture, but poor instructions, wires to short to connect, holes on base not punched correctly, no wire nuts incl. , 3 units and all three had some kind of damage,

Looks great and worth the money

So there I was, really excited about decorating a game room with a steampunk style and this light was to be the epitome of everyone sitting in a gaming room and feeling like it was just really cool. Then the lamp came. It was not only broken, it had plastic pieces in it, which is why it broke I'm sure. I'm sorry, but if I'm looking to spend the kind of money this light cost, I'm looking for metal and glass, not plastic. So it was a cheap shortcut to a look that would have been cool had it been a bit more authentic. Don't tell me that the cost would have to go up because I absolutely know that it's marked up by so much they could buy pizza for the Civic Center with the profit they make off this piece of junk.

Updated: Since we installed this in October of 2019 (This update is March 2020), two of the lights have stopped working. I still think the light is cool, but it doesn't put out much light with all the lights working. We purchased two of these, one is completely fine (though we had to get it replaced) and the one pictured is the one with the non-working lights.Gave this a 3 for style. As for the quality of the materials, the instructions, and the dependability, it's not great. The light is distinctive and cool. We ordered two. The first was ordered to see if we'd like it. We had a problem with one of the lights not working. Haven't ever figured out how to fix that. We ordered a second light a couple of weeks later for a different room and the materials were slightly better than the original, though some pieces were missing, like screws. Luckily, my husband is handy and has a lot of extra parts in his work room. Otherwise, would have sent this back. It's a cool fixture, but if you're not intuitive and handy, you won't find this to be an easy install.

Love the look of this ... but I want one that isn't broken. A response from the seller would be good.
