Not Compatible with Dell XPS-15 L501X
I have a Dell XPS 15 L501X. This power adapter allowed the laptop to run on AC, but gave a warning that the adapter type cannot be determined and will run a reduced speed and won't charge the battery. Dell adapters apparently have a signal wire that tells the computer the wattage, so it can know how much power to draw.A replacement Dell power supply works fine. Gomarty refunded my money even though it was out of the return period, but I'm still waiting for them to send me a shipping label to return the supply.

Good Enough
Does what adapters do good enough. Amazon did ask me to write my review almost immediately after I received it. Only time will tell if this specific adapter continues to work good enough for long enough to be worth buying it over a Dell adapter.

Cord works great for our all-in-one
Worked great for our all-in-one Dell. The computer just stopped working one day and I noticed the power cord light from the original cord that came with the computer was not lighting up. So, I bought this cord to see if that was the problem and it was. Computer was fine now.

Worked for my Alienware Alpha.
I moved and somehow ALL of my cables and cords for my Alienware Alpha came up missing. So I had to reorder everything. This adapter works perfectly. Thanks.

DOES NOT FIT DELL Precision M3800. Do not buy for it. Also very big case size. See picture
DOES NOT FIT DELL Precision M3800! The text in the Amazon add says compatible with M3800. Wrong. Power plug is way to large. Also the plastic case is at least twice as large as the original Dell supply. It makes putting it in your brief case really bulky. This power supply is like designed in the '90's. I had some very old laptops with this kind of huge box. We have better, smaller designs and electronic circuits now. I'm kicking my self for buying it because I am an electronics engineer and bought this out of frustration... I'm sending it back.

Great Product
This is was the perfect product to solve my issue. The cost was lower than the manufacturer original A/C adapter and it works just as well.

It works on my Desktop computer
The item has raised our desktop from the dead it had stoped working and my son noticed that the light on the power block was not lighting up so we searched and found this and now the computer works great again
