Compares well to similar pads - slightly smaller/lighter
I own three versions of this z-fold pad. Wolf Walker (this one), Featherstone (also on Amazon), and Thermarest. Although I would consider Thermarest the benchmark, the alternates compare favorably, especially for the price. Of the three, the Wolf Walker is the lightest/thinnest/smallest (by a small amount). If I lay on the three back to back, the Wolf Walker "feels" the thinnest, but not by much. Despite being the least comfortable (slightly) I prefer the Wolf Walker for it's low weight - mine weighs 15 oz; this is about 6oz lighter than the other versions (and is slightly smaller). If weight is a priority for backpacking, this could be the best option. I have used it on about 6 overnights - wear is minimal and it appears well made.If you have never slept on one of these, or similar thermal pad, don't expect an air-mattress. It offers thermal isolation and a bit of comfort compared to the hard ground. I would consider it similar to sleeping on a carpeted floor in your home (maybe a touch harder). If you cringe at the thought of sleeping on carpet, this is the wrong product for you - you will prefer an air mattress.

Not enough -edited
I would wake up through the night due to pain from pressure points. Not thick enough to sleep on unless you are used to it. It still comes with me on trips, but I use it to kneel on when entering exiting the tent.Edit: this thing has lasted over 20 camps and is still in the same condition as I got it. I use it in the hammock now, kneeling, or if I'm on the ground and don't have an inflate mat. Not the best, but still somehow comes with me everytime and gets used. Bumped it from 3 to 4 stars.

Didn't have a netted carrier like when I ordered 2 sets.
I needed 3, ordered the 2 sets and it came with a netted pouch, nice.. but the single one didn't have it.if I got the pouch, would have been 5 stars.
