DO NOT BUY THISI bought this 3 weeks ago through Amazon. It arrived and I found it was flat pack - it wasn't described that way in Amazons posting.Despite the very complex instructions I assembled it. I tried to put my shoes in it (size 9) as shown in the picture. They don't fit. The door wouldn't close on them. So I adjusted the shelves. Still wouldnt close. I took a shelf out and the door scraped closed with a graunching sound. I sat on it (I'm 14 stone). The top bowed and the door popped open. It is rubbish. The picture is hopelessly misleading - they must all be elves shoes.I raised a return through Amazon - which went to Easylife and they informed me that I had to lug it to the post office.I contacted Easylife to get it collected (its too big and heavy to lug to the post office). They referred me to Aamazon Customer Services, who said they'd arrange for Easylife to collect it. No word from Easylife, so I sent Amazon a reminder. They ignored it.I called Amazon again who are very sympathetic but won't give me a refund. They have now started a claim against Easylife. No-one at Amazon wants to give me a refund or take the wretched thing away - they hide behind it being Easylife's responsibility. Meanwhile someone has my money. I tried escalating it with a supervisor at Amazon. She hung up.Finally, if you must buy this item, its much cheaper from other suppliers. None could care less about their customers than Amazon do.A Customer-Centric company - don't make me laugh!

You’ll notice the description states all types of shoes and sizes can fit on the shelves. This is totally inaccurate. The photo description is very misleading. I am now stuck with an extremely large box that only fits elves shoes. I wish I’d of checked the reviews before purchasing, instead I had good faith in the fact that Amazon took pride in the items they were selling. Total waste of time, money and effort.

I'm not sure I understand why so many people found this hard to assemble. The instructions were pretty straightforward to me, to be honest. Quite similar to the IKEA manuals (maybe that's why I found it easier than others?). Anyway, the bench looks great, I'm very happy with it, better quality than IKEA shoe cabinets. Also, I've managed to fit quite a few pairs of shoes (UK sizes 5-6), as you can see in the photos.

Bench arrived on time, disappointed that 12 pairs of shoes do not fit in this bench unlessYou have considerably smaller feet as a 9/10 I thought my shoes would fit alas only 7 pairs fit inIf i put any more in the door would not shut correctly and the top pairs are at a slight angle so the door can close.Also the metal parts where the door opens on a tilt ,are a bit of a hazard as when I was putting the screws in I SlicedMy knuckle on the metal when I turned the screw.Still usable but very disappointed it was not as described.

Please do not buy this product.The flat pack is a nightmare to assemble. I think my product is faulty as the cam locks do not hold in place. I certainly will not try to sit on it!!!!! A waste of money.

Definitely not able to store 12 pairs of shoes. Perhaps baby ones. The middle shelfs gap is not practical either. When shoes are put on the top shelf the door can't be closed. I have 0ne pair turned sideways, so that it will shut. My shoe size is a 7. quite small on average.

There is no way that you can fit three rows of shoes and men's shoes will only fit on the bottom, two pairs at the most and three pairs of ladies shoes on the other shelf. Any more and it won't close up Feel totally cheated.

Not easy to assemble.
