No it doesn't. I must be attached to a mic stand or boom arm with a standard screw attachment.

This WOULD NOT fit a Samson C01U microphone! I learned it the hard way. The hole on the base is too small for the microphone. @Ned Scarisbricj @ddietz3, stop giving misleading information please, especially when you haven't try it first-hand. And ddietz3, NO, it doesn't have anything to do with the fatter your mic is, because the thread is on the base, you must be confused with a generic clamp shock mount.
