After reading some reviews I was pleasantly surprised by this sturdy fan which, if anything, does the job a little too enthusiastically. The fan is really strong even on the low setting. I need it on a bedside table and I had to move it further away onto the chest of drawers and then only as far as the cable reached. As a desk fan it would be very effective unless you have documents: papers, stationery, anything light which would be blown off the surface. The fan is not as quiet as I'd hoped for but doesn't stop me sleeping.

The fan is very poor build quality as evidenced by the fact that the plastic around the screws connecting the motor case to the motor was broken meaning the case (and therefore the "safety" mesh that attaches to it) was hanging onto the motor as seen is the first pic, this made the fan blades hit the mesh and after a few seconds of operation fired a tiny piece of sharp plastic off of the blade (see second pic)

Quiet and very effective.

Lasted 2 days, now there's no difference between the two speeds and barely any draught coming from it at all.Better, branded, and slightly larger desk fans exist on Amazon for literally a couple of quid more.

I think the fan is OK. Not overly powerful and struggles a bit to cope with my night time sweats! It is nice a quiet and compact model and I'm sure would be suitable for most people. It was delivered on time and well packaged.

Unfortunately the motor housing was broken. All three of the mounting screw points were damaged which meant that the fan would not be able to function safely. The motor seems solid though!

does the job well! good speed and enough to keep by your bedside/window sill to cool up a small room

Does what it says on the box.Reasonably quiet, but the cool air makes up for the bit of noise.
