Worked brilliantly for Frozen themed cake pops
Made cake pops for the first time using these. Just pop some in the microwave for about 30 seconds until it starts to melt, add some vegetable oil (approx. 1 tablespoon) give it a stir and heat it again for another 20-30 seconds and stir again.I tried with and without adding the vegetable oil and found that adding the vegetable oil made it much easier to coat, add a little first, as you can experiment with it and always add more later. The coating came out really nice, no lumps etc. I also used white cooking chocolate for white cake pops; I found that Wilton's Candy Melts were easier to use and gave a better coating. So would definitely buy this over regular cooking chocolate, but saying this, you can use normal cooking chocolate too as it still does the job pretty good.I also used plenty of sprinkles and a toothpick to make swirly decorations on the cake pops - a quick search on YouTube will give you plenty of ideas. If you haven't made cake pops before, you have to try them - so easy to make and so much fun!

Absolutely useless.
Do not waste your time buying these. I've made many cakes and cake pops and these are usually my go to. However, not being able to get to a shop in person I purchased these instead - and totally wish I hadn't. I followed the packet instructions to a 't' and tried both the double boil and the microwave method to melt these down and neither worked. The candy melts went like playdough and were completely unfit for purpose. They're not cheap either so a complete waste of money. No sell by date or other information on the packaging either. Contacted the seller for a refund but not holding out much hope.

Fab - does what it says ....
I ordered these as I wanted to make a chocolate candy liner for a giant cupcake and had read candy melts are ideal.I wasn't disappointed, they are versatile in that you can keep re-heating them without ruining the structure. They taste sweeter than normal chocolate, but haven't had any complaints from people!!!! The colour was perfect as well and didn't alter during melting. Will definitely be purchasing again - can't wait to try other colours.

They have to be mixed with a little bit of water to get them to a good consistency
Very good tho

great flavour
I struggled to get these to melt at first but after various atempts I realized that they really didn't need as much heat as I was giving them, gradual warming over boiled water was enough, instead of keeping the dish over the boiling water like I was doing. One melting I added a dessert spone of Veg oil and I was well away, the pop cakes I was making turned out really well. Thanks

Awful, do not buy.
Terrible. I bought these to use on cakepops as I had heard that when melted, they were supposed to be thinner and smoother than normal chocolate. This was completely wrong. I tried melting these many times in various ways; microwave, in a bowl over hot water etc. and each time they melted extremely thick, thicker than frosting! They did not melt thinly at all and it was impossible to smear over a cake pop never mind trying to dip it into the mixture. They are a complete waste of time and money, I should have just bought normal chocolate. Very disappointing, do not waste your money on these.

its ok
This product isnt bad, but isn't as brilliant as Menier cooking chocolate. It doesn't melt as silky smooth as other products
