Purchased for domestic use and it's certainly a quality piece of kit, very solid, very heavy and a commercial rated element.Look up youtube for domestic flat plate grill cooking ideas, it's pretty comprehensive,Stir fries, pizza bases. as well as the usual grilled meals.I found the hotter the better gives great results across the board after a bit of practice.The main gripe on this type of product is getting it clean after use. After experimenting i found the best way to achieve this is to pour small quantities of cold water on the plate as it cools down and run the blade of your grill plate spatula over the surface several times , the steam generated makes the job easy.

If you want a griddle to do the job for 2 to 4 people this is great.Not just for cooked breakfast but stir fry Chinese, chicken, meats etc. brilliant, heats up quick, controller is good with thermostat, neat rubber feet so you can move it easily between locations (outside to inside) on a work surface or other.Build quality feels good but does weigh a reasonable amount.I have not used my conventional hob since buying this which was the idea.Easy to clean but you need a griddle scourer or the like to help.Can use water to steam rice very good, whatch youtube griddle for ideas

Very pleased with this griddle. When it arrived I was a little shocked at its weight and size but they help it to be very useful and enable larger quantities to be cooked together.Well made and works well.

We all love the griddle. Have used it for mixed grills which seem to taste so much better and cook in no time at all. My husband has made Derbyshire oatcakes from scratch with fine oatmeal which are delicious for breakfast with egg and bacon or rolled up withcheese etc. inside. Wish I had known about it when I had a bed and breakfast business.It would have saved so much time.

I ordered this from Next day Catering through Amazon and as clearly shown is a buffalo Griddle L515 but when I opened the box a month later to use it , it was from a company called Apollo which I never heard before while Buffalo is a famous brand.This type of deception was not expected. However its been 2 days and it works satisfactory.I am still disappointed that I was fooled by this supplier of buying something and sneaking in something else.

Great product at a great price. Mine arrived with a damaged plug but after a quick telephone call a new griddle was sent out and received within 48 hours.
