I found that it did a good job of attracting moisture to the scalp and locking it in, which is a plus for anyone with dry hair issues. Additionally, its ability to tame frizz is commendable, leaving the hair looking smoother and more manageable.The weightless nature of the gel is another positive. It doesn't leave hair feeling heavy or greasy, which is often a concern with styling products. After application, my hair did have a healthy shine, which I appreciated. I’m amazed at how rubbish this has become. This is either fake or the new formula is rubbish!I have 3C/4A hair type. Normally echo gel locks my curl in with no frizz however this wasn’t the case and those with Afro hair will know what I mean when I say it wouldn’t lock the actual curl in … you know when u have to keep applying more but can still see that ur hair will dry with fizz because it won’t lock/hold the curl. The product was watery … it seemed like more water than actual holding gel.Won’t be buying this again!!
