Product Description ------------------- Discover the perfect styling tool to achieve on-trend, ultra-loose large waves. A classic style curling tong with 38mm ceramic barrel to give you volume at the roots and soft waves on longer hair. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE * Ensure hair is dry and combed through. * Press the button marked ‘I/O’ to switch on. * Press the ‘-/+’ button to select the desired temperature. If you have delicate, fine or coloured hair, use the lower heat settings. For thicker hair, use the high heat settings. * Allow the appliance to heat up for 30 seconds. Allow slightly longer if using on the higher temperature settings. * Press the button marked ‘I/O’ to switch off and unplug the appliance. * Allow to cool before storing away. Styling Tips To create natural waves and movement * Section dry hair evenly and comb through before styling. * Pressing the lever, place the tong midway up the hair section and spread hair evenly between the lever and barrel. * Once hair is in place carefully let go of the lever so the hair is held securely between lever and barrel. Gently slide the tong down to the hair ends. * Wind the hair around the barrel at a slight angle, so the hair wraps around the barrel in a spiral motion. As you wind the hair around the barrel, ensure the hair is distributed evenly so the entire section is touching the barrel, try not to overlap the hair. * Hold in place for 5-8 seconds depending on the texture and length of your hair. * To remove the tong from the hair, press the lever and pull tong away. * Allow the curl to cool before styling. * Repeat as necessary. To add volume to the roots * Section dry hair evenly and comb through before styling. * Lift up a section of hair and place the tong underneath the hair close to the root being careful not to touch the scalp. * Pull the hair down taught over the barrel for 5-8 seconds depending on the texture of the hair. * Slide the tong out from under the hair section. To “set” the style, do not comb or brush hair until it cools. * Repeat as necessary. Auto Shut Off This appliance has an automatic shut off feature for added safety. If the appliance is switched on for more than 72 minutes continuously, then it will automatically switch off. If you wish to continue using the appliance after this time, simply press the button marked ‘I/O’ to turn the power on.
