An infuriating waste of money. There is a slight ridge between plastic loop and bamboo needle end preventing a smooth transition of wool from loop to needle and in my case, finally parting company, leaving me to watched in horror as several hours of intricate lace work was left suspended in free space then diving for a standard needle in an attempt to rescue some of my work.

These needles arrived on Saturday (2 days ago) and looked to be acceptable but when I started knitting on the 2mm circular needle yesterday the tubing pulled off the needle when I was 30 rows into the project. Stitches could not be picked up and the whole project had to be scrapped!. I have thrown away packaging or I would be sending them back! I feel that these needles are a waste of money!

I knit a lot and needed a set of larger diameter circular needles. My budget wasn't huge so after reading the reviews I decided to give these a try. At first I was super impressed! They feel great in your hands, the plastic cord is nice a flexible and even though some of the points aren't quite the same size/particularly pointy they did the job really well! I also love that the cables are colour coded, and the sizes are written on the needles making them super easy to identify. BUT today one of the plastic cables came away from the needle, about 3 months and 2 jumpers worth of use. So I'd say these needles are great for light use but if you're after something that is going to last a long time and withstand a lot of knitting then these aren't for you.

I bought this set in December 2017 and before I purchased them, I read many of the reviews. Eventually, I decided that, for the price, the set was worth the gamble of them not being perfect.Bear in mind I'm not an experienced knitter and I am not a particularly fast knitter because I have arthritis in my hands so I only use bamboo/wooden needles. I was pleased when they arrived but didn't want to post a "knee-jerk" review.After 9 months of fairly regular use with various of the sizes, I remain delighted with the set. I am not the gentlest of users but the needles aren't showing any wear and none of the cables have broken. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

These needles are fantastic. I have been knitting for a good number of years with steel needle, which can become heavy after a time as your work grows.Also they transfer the heat from your hands to the needles, but with bamboo needles the work is so easy.They are lightweight and the stitches slip so easily along the needle. Why haven't I thought of using these years ago? This is one of my better purchases, Now knitting is a pleasure. Thank you Pixnor. Fast service as well.

Good value. I use bamboo needles as they are easier on my hands - I have early arthritis. I only need this type of knitting needle occasionally which is fine as I'm not sure how robust they will be. If stitches are s bit tight they don't slide easily over the join of bamboo and plastic tubing which tends to flatten just below the join.

I was always under the impression these were just for circular knitting. A friend talked me into trying them and I have to say I find them a lot less fiddly to work with than pairs of needles. Also relieves the problem of losing one of a pair. not the first time I have popped a pair down and misplaced one of them.The connecting plastic cable appears to be good sturdy quality and they are well fitted. I did wonder with them being much cheaper than buying them singularly but the quality is spot on.

I bought these when I started knitting because I wasn’t sure if I would carry on doing it. These really are poor quality and I have spent many hours picking up stitches in projects when the cable has become detached from the needle. Would not recommend.
