I no longer have the product box. But it could be made in Germany (main production facility in the Black Forest), France, the U.S. (Atlanta area), or China. I’ve owned many Hansgrohe products over the years. All excellent and easy to install. I’m also confident that no matter in which country a factory is located, you’ll get a great product. On the other hand, if you’re trying to avoid products made in China for political reasons or because you’re angry about the corona virus, then I can’t say with 100% certainty that this soap dispenser is NOT made in China. I don’t work for Hansgrohe, but I will give their products a huge thumbs up. As I said, their main production facility is in Germany, for faucets at least.

To fill the bottle, you just lift the top, put the funnel on top and pour the liquid soap in. Voilla
