Q: would the p1200 be overkill in a 4x4 grow tent?

Hi Kevin.. Overkill, no.. but actually not the optimal setup. The best setup for a 4x4 would be 2x P600 units which are each half of a P1200. It's always better to split up panels into multiple panels to keep tighter, more even coverage. This is a very highly recommended setup and one that we do all the time!

Q: What are the actual par readings for this light? how does it compare to the spyder 1200 that is getting a 1200 par at center of canopy?

Hello.. The Spyder can not even begin to compare to our PAR levels or spectral output. While it does have a "fun" design, it's far overpriced and under performing. When looking at PAR values, you need to also compare at what height the reading was taken at. For the P1200, the PAR readings are as follows: 6" - 3000+, 12" - 2390, 18" - 1827, 24" - 1440. Not only do we offer verified PAR testing on all of our lights, but we have live video to prove it. Anyone can type a number into a website without proof.. but we submit both live PAR readings and spectral analysis. Long story short: We offer the highest PAR per watt of any other LED grow light with the most complete, efficient spectrum possible with the best possible pricing and longest warranty. Q: What is the weight of a p 1200 Advanced Platinum led light?

I bought these and they're operating amazingly! The weight of one, IMO, if have to say roughly about 30 lbs.

Q: Does this need two anchora on the ceiling or can you just attach it to one anchor?

Hello! We would most definitely recommend using 2x mounting points for this light. Keep in mind that the P1200 is a commercial quality, absolute beast of a unit measuring 36" long and weighing around 44 lbs. Not for the faint of heart or the low yielding.. :)
